It's been quite long since I last posted my poems, I just got busy with college and everything. 2024 was a rollercoaster ride, everything happened in a year for me and it overwhelmed me so much for so long. Breakups, academic frustration, identity crisis, birthdays, desperation, and disappointment.

I'm starting to think that anyone who reached the age of 19, will always experience these types of obstacles in their lives. But despite all of that, and because of that, I discovered something new about myself. I learned to love myself, and know me better than anyone else.

I always loved poetical works, novels, books. Never in my life I became so passionate about those, not until the age of 19 occurred and the 2024 struck me like a lightning bolt. I became a poet—passionately, as a sublimation response to my issues that I didn't even realize it was sublimation until someone pointed it out.

If I had a choice of going back in time and choosing a different outcome—I still would've chosen this path. It's tough, yes. But now I crossed another bridge towards another path, another season with long awaited opportunities and obstacles for me. Because I've grown so much, that the child in me can finally say, "she's making it!"

I'd like to thank those who supported this small page full of poems that are sometimes raw, and hard to understand. But you all inspired me. You all reminded me that I'm not alone in this journey, and that some of you may relate to me and my works. I may not know your stories, but you and I connect through poems.

This 2025, I will improve even more. I accept that I might not stay consistent, and waves might wash me away. So, I shall prepare myself to learn how to swim. Let us continue to welcome everything into our lives, whether it may be rivers that seem impossible to cross, or opportunities that seem too good to be true. Promise me one thing—that you'll continue the path ahead of you, and cope with poems like how I cope with crying and messy writing.
