will clear his schedule (not hard to convince him to do tbh), set the lighting, put on comfy clothes and get snacks when you tell him you have tea

if it's an impromptu gossip sesh he's happy to do it while you do things together - drawing, doing your nails, doing skincare

gets more passionate than you tbh

also says extremely out of pocket shit but it absolutely is not out of the blue, you can tell he had been sitting on that comment for a minute

when you're in the wrong he'll make a face of skepticism and then say you're crazy when you ask what's with the face he's making

will be so offended if you're too busy to gossip with him

likes to threaten you by saying 'fine I guess I just won't complete that story from last time since you clearly don't care for what happens next'

always ends up giving in though, he's practically bursting at the seems by the time you tell him you're available

loves making sarcastic filler remarks like 'oh? do tell me more' and '*exaggerated gasp* no way! and what after that?'

he mostly keeps it toned down so you don't notice it sometimes but when he's intent on pissing you off he ups the anti and it becomes really obvious

likes to pretend he's not seriously interested but is listening out for people who wronged you and is putting their names on a list - god help any of these people who happen to encounter skye the fruit vendor

occasionally makes threats towards people who did you dirty and you can't tell if he's serious or not

loves to annoy you by acting like he's not listening and making you repeat yourself but then reassures you by summarising your story thus far and letting you continue

finds it hilarious when you practically throw yourself onto his couch to get seated for whatever it is he has to tell you

intentionally listens out during meetings, underground gatherings and auctions to make sure he has plenty of juice to spill when he gets home to you

the moment you say 'oh my god caleb there's something I need to tell you!' he's already laying on your bed using your plushies as a pillow to get comfortable

is good at remembering your multiple part stories and brings them up - 'oh that's the lady from last time, didn't she say no when he proposed and cut him off? no way he's still trying to fit himself into the picture'

you're always mindlessly laying on him while going on and he plays with your hair or traces patterns into your hand

sometimes is lowkey not listening because he just likes looking at you, but he's good at saving himself by retrieving what you were saying that ended up being pushed to the back of his head from deep within his psyche - you can always tell though because it takes him a second longer than it really should
