Ichi's Ten Tackles

All of my attacks for this first year.

Only four were revenged. None of my 5 characters were actively attacked.

Yes, I know this is a gift exchange, and no one is pressed to do anything, and everything is for the fun... but this is no fun. Everyone says that more than 10 attacks is a lot, and I actively stopped myself from doing more. I went from "maybe someone will attack me" to "maybe someone will revenge me" to "please, at least comment, please."

I am not the kind of person who will search in groups and chats with "uwu attack me pwease". I consider it a type of circlejerking, tbh. If this is an event - an active event, a yearly event, hyped to the max - I expect some sort of motion. If I wanted just spamming gifts in the void, I would make a page here dedicated for this - or, hell, I would just do it, lurking from page to page, sending gifts to stranger and expecting no motion in return. Maybe I should just do that, a solitary artfight all year round.

And when people say that they will be happy to receive even a dirty sketch back - yeah, after this kind of swamp, no duh. A smiley face on the grid paper from a notebook would make me squeal and revenge back instantly, if there was even this.

Where is the fight in ArtFight? Where's the drive, the action? The friendly gift-giving should not become begging in the chats full of the same desperate minds, starved for a glimpse of kindness.

And before you say anything - yes, I already received an earful from the fellow artfighters about "lowering my expectations" and "nothing is obligatory" and such.
