BEING IN A NEW WORLD was one hell of a relief! Maybe there was a little guilt, his dad would be all alone without him – he wants to say, serves him right. He didn’t exactly hate it there ( a man could never hate a place he used to call home, after all ), but he sure as hell disagreed with a lot of things. Maybe in this place, he would be able to live out a life that combined what he was raised with, along with his own ideals. (Hell, maybe he can get a roomba here since his dad never let him get one!)

While he certainly missed those in Bad Ass Temple – he trusted that they could take care of themselves until they either found him – or he could get back to them. One of the two. He kicks a small rock in his way, choosing to keep kicking it along as he walked. Eventually, it hits a pedestrian – but not just anyone. 

IT REALLY HAD TO BE HIM, HUH?

Today was a good day-- the sun was out, the manga and ingredients were half off, and everyone he talked to seemed to be in a good mood. There was nothing that could get him down...

... Or so he thought.

He grunted when he ran into someone and stumbled back for a few moments. “Shit, sorry, I should have been paying attention. Are you alright--” ... He fell silent, his eyes wide in shock when he saw who he bumped into. Red hair, yellow eyes filled with malice...

“K-Kuko...!?” he choked out, taking two steps back. 

“I should be asking YOU that. When the-- Why are you here!?” he could feel his heart hammering loud in his ears and making him a little bit lightheaded. This was some kind of dream, right?

the marketplace is bustling as expected from a place of trade,   but what confuses her entirely is how people are making purchases.   rather than the usual barter of items,   or the usage of gold and silver coins,   they’re exchanging cards and strange machines.   it vaguely looks familiar to her own,   her name embellished in the front with a curious design;   but this is given to her from the nobility of this land.   she has no information regarding just what this is nor how to use it.

so she looks behind her with a quick turn,   finding the first person who doesn’t look like they’re completely lost,   and walks resolutely to them.   her hand has the plastic card,   which she aggressively shoves into the other person’s face with some irritation.

Well, Ichiro certainly didn’t expect that. He was just on his way back from his usual shopping trip when he was stopped by a woman, who... shoved her credit card in his face? Well, first for everything, he supposed. He adjusted the bag on his shoulder before he gently pulled her hand down to get the card out of his face.
