Despite there being a warning not to wander the city at night upon arrival, Oz dismisses it thoughtlessly -- partially due to the fact that he hadnāt been paying much attention at the time anyway, but also because a dare like that surely exists so that people will break it; thereās just something off about it. Itās an interestingĀ bit of information, and something about it snags his attention. There are no set reasons as to why itās apparentlyĀ āunsafe.ā Instead, itās all left vague and unexplained, almost like the words a parent might use to scare a wayward child into sticking to a curfew. A while ago and under different circumstances, he mightāve brushed it off as something similar.
Now, the sky above is slowly beginning to shift into night, bright oranges and pinks bleeding away into black. Thereās a telltale chill in the air thatās becoming more apparent as the last streaks of sunlight disappear, but Oz doesnāt pay it any mind. Thereās a casual bounce to his step. HeāsĀ curious -- whatās nightfall hiding? (Plus, heās wandered far enough into the city to become a little turned around, anyhow. Navigating back to his apartment isnāt going to be that easy.)
ā Hey, mister~! ā he calls to a nearby stranger, an easygoing smile on his face. He doesnāt sound concerned or worried in the slightest, and his voice rings with deliberate cheer and an innocent sort of inquisitiveness.Ā ā Everyone says it isnāt safe to stay out late -- do you think thatās true? ā
Hey @legatumxāā, whatāre the chances this is dangerous? (starter call.)
