But it presents differently
His Mr. Mystery persona is a persona (like a mask) it isnt his actual self. He is acting.
Stan can be manipulated just as easily as ford/doesnt seem to read people's intention
Learning disabilities like dyslexia are common with autistic ppl.
Despite his charisma and masking he was still not popular with his peers. It did not exactly help him.
When he is older, masking is easier because his autistic traits can be dismissed as him being an eccentric old guy.
He does take things literally. He is also not a really good liar (lots of examples of this, but right now my brain is dead.)
If Ford is autistic then Stan has a higher chance of it (because twins)
The reason it is easier to see in Ford is because Ford meets specific stereotypes: being nerdy (esp in stem), obviously struggling with social interactions, etc. This is not a bad thing. It was those same things that probably made his autism more acceptable than Stan.
