A “lover” who makes you hate the person you’re becoming is not a lover. He/she is a manipulator and an emotional abuser. Was in a relationship with someone like that and the toughest part was leaving. After that, life was great. Great is an understatement actually. I found someone that loves me unconditionally. I started being productive and made moves to improve myself. Started to love and appreciate my family and friends much more. Man, I finally understood what it meant to love myself.
