okay so um uhm

these two are both based in the first Subnautica game because i haven’t watched a full playthrough of the second one yet and am waiting to get my hands on a copy of it myself 🙏

the two of them are sentient like Al-an is, both being able to talk and communicate in (mostly) understandable ways.

Sonitus lives primarily on land while Imperium lives deep in the sea and only ventures to the surface when it runs out of available food sources!!

the two cross paths yadda yadda gay fish-alien yaoi ensues…

Imperium at first saw Sonitus as possible prey but in an attempt to attack him instead realized that he could become a possible mate (because Imperium’s species is endangered. there’s like two of them or something). anyways yeah so yaoiful ^_^

their colors match/compliment each other because i think it’s real neat when characters have that trait with one another!! 😋 (almost all of my ocs have some form of color-relation to one another if they’re in the same story!!)
