Real ones know Chang Lee walked all the way around the TARDIS way before Rose Tyler. I heard RTD say that no one between Rose and Ruby walked all the way around the TARDIS after seeing it was bigger on the inside (it was also debunked in the same place, and it was back during promo for season one). I might just be biased, but Chang Lee and Grace Holloway came first in The Doctors life (or at least time stream bc Rose Tyler has met a version of Eight) so I would argue theyve had a larger influence on Doctor Who's through-line. Not only was Grace the first kiss but Chang Lee found the TARDIS on his own after assuming The Doctor died. Chang Lee was severly missing scenes in that movie. Only Master AND Doctor companion, but also stood up to the Master way before Lucy Saxon. RTD is a thief. Theres no friggin Chang Lee gifs. Also Yee Jee Tso is a telented actor. Make him The Doctor.

Trying to write about the eighth doctor and regeneration is kinda kooky because theres only two live action appearances, but each appearance is steeped in so much of everything around it finding accurate sources is really just whichever tangent I have to be on to explain why that One Thing You Hate is there.

Me personally I cam choose to believe the drums were planted in the master's head when he was a wee boy but he didn't actually start to hear them in his head, driving him insane, until he was resurrected for the time war. The constant drums calling him to battle. Driving him to serve Gallifrey.

I'm gonna borrow and build on this headcannon 🙏

In the 1996 movie, The Master gets pulled into the time vortex (through the eye of harmony)

and is pulled out by the time lords between then and his next live action appearance in Utopia (with the new cycle and chameleon arch stuff) for his involvment in and after the live action time war.

Gallifrey also exists in their own timestream so that second regeneration cycle might've started as a child so they could re-train him to be more of a warrior like the War Doctor. Who was kind of just stopping the war where ever he was.

Now that RTD is gone, I think they should actually commit to the Doctor taking Rose's face. Make your bed and lay in it. But take it a step further.

Not only does the Doctor look like Rose, she's starting to think like her as well. She's starting to remember details about Rose's life that she shouldn't be able to. She knows something is wrong, and is doing everything she can to figure out why this is happening.

Then, she sees him. A man with Nine's face, working in downtown London in 2005. He isn't the Doctor, no, he's just a man, but it looks like he recognizes the Doctor.

Something is very, very wrong. History books are changing, skewed slightly to the left. Similar, but not the same. There is a great mass distortion affecting the universe, and the Doctor is at the center of it, and she and the man with Nine's face are the only ones who can stop it from completely rewriting the entire universe.
