Story: I’m on the verge of finishing university & the zero hour job I have does not cover my rent, and I’m unable to pick up more hours. I’ve been searching for a job for a while and I just can’t get one, despite having my practically expert-CV boyfriend person looking over it. So, I figured, yo. I’m going to try my hand at commissions. Now, I’m not a very artistic person, but I have done some media production (at uni), which includes digital media and stuff. I have also made icons before in the past, for my own use & put them up on tumblr & hollow art. Now?

I want to make icons for y’all. I’m not great, but here’s some examples (in a smaller size than they’d actually be). All of them are from DW b/c I have access to BBC IPlayer yo

Clara gave her a small look, and took Missy’s hand, placing it on her chest. She didn’t want to tell Missy the full story, but she wanted something else more. Besides… The Doctor couldn’t remember her. There weren’t many ways she could turn this against him. “I was pulled out of time right before I died. What you’re feeling now isn’t.. no heartbeat. It’s my last one.” She frowned a little, and let go, “I’m frozen in time. And I have been for a long time.”

Clara smiled a little at Missy’s face, as she pulled up a chair and sat on her side of the bar, pouring herself a glass of orange juice. She liked this. Enjoyed it, even. All of her past resentments against Missy were… almost gone. Of course, she would always have that underlining dislike, but… what happened with Danny didn’t bother her. What she had done with The Doctor… She could now RELATE to, almost. Clara had a whole new perspective on life, from the last time she had seen the Time Lady. It was nice to see how much Missy seemed to be confused at that.

“It’s a bit of a long story.” She moved a bit of her hair out of her face, and met Missy’s eyes. “I got a haircut or two, I explored and travelled, I loved and lost and THEN I wondered… where were all the interesting people?” She frowned, taking a small drink as she leaned in a little. “Give me your hand.”

“A long story? Well it isn’t as if I have something else to do.“ Missy tilted her head to the side and observed the brunette carefully. This was an older Clara somehow, despite looking exactly the same. It hit her in a flash at least some of what she was missing, Missy was used to her two her heart beats, so it was a surprise to hear none from the other woman.

Silly drinks? Clara almost rolled her eyes, grabbing something special from the nearby fridge. She could practically feel Missy’s eyes on her. She was watching her like a hawk. Clara didn’t mind, because she was doing the exact same thing. Only, just a little more discrete.

“IF you were planning something - I wouldn’t try and stop you.” She glanced up, pulling the drink open, before placing it before Missy and resting her elbows on the bar - making eye contact with her. “…In fact, I’d ask how much front row tickets are.” With a small smile, she pushed the glass forward; “Here. Came across it on the real-life equivalent of Coruscant. Alcoholic, red cherry flavoured. Kinda strong. Seems like your kind of drink.”

Missy sniffed the drink and raised a brow. She picked up the glass and swished it before taking a sip. It was strong, even for her. She cleared her throat and slowly set it down. “Good call, it’s sickly sweet.”

Hearing Missy’s complaint, Clara smiled a little to herself but shook her head and didn’t respond. She opened the door, and stepped in. “Cathy?” She called, looking around. But that was for show. She didn’t want Missy to think this place as hers. Yet. With a sigh, she left the door open for Missy, as she moved behind the counter. “Pick a drink. Alcohol’s fine. Preferably human, I only have a few non-Earth drinks in here.” She smiled a little to her.

“Quick question; are you doing any end-of-the-world stuff at the moment? Do I have to be worried about UNIT or someone coming through those doors for you?” She wouldn’t mention The Doctor. In fact, she was going to try and avoid him at all costs She didn’t want to know; she didn’t know if she could handle knowing.

Missy tentatively followed the puppy into the restaurant. The moment she stepped in she felt something almost vibrate within her. Odd. She watched Clara move around the place with a level of confidence she’s never seen before. Something was off.

“Then I know just the place. I know the owner, she’ll scram for a bit.” A completely private place. With Missy. That was dangerous, she knew. But if she was honest, Clara was near enough living on the EDGE. Because she was BORED. And Missy was exciting. She’ll take what she could get from her, even if it was risky.

“It’s an American diner. This way–” She motioned for Missy to follow as she moved in the direction of this ‘American Diner’. 

Was this Christmas? Clara willingly going with her to have a drink alone, did the girl want to die? Surely she was dreaming.

If he was honest, she was BORED. And Missy? Despite her previous views and opinions on her, she… could be.. if not fun, at least INTERESTING. At least, that’s what Clara hoped.

“Great. D’you prefer somewhere busy or somewhere quiet?“

Missy thought about that for a moment. Busy was always fun, the potential for beautiful chaos, but she could get away with so much more if they were somewhere private.
