Had the most amazing and electric road trip with my boys. A few things have changed in the past few years around how we travel. First and most obviously, we added 2 new people who don’t pay for snacks to the itinerary. Second, we started doing many more road trips and traveling locally. And now, we have discovered an entire new way to see the country- and that is by driving electric.⠀ ⠀ When we got a new car last year, we thought long and hard about going electric and came so close to doing it, because quite honestly, the science doesn’t lie. More of us need to make the switch. But we were concerned that it would be inconvenient and different and not an easy way to move, especially with little ones.⠀ ⠀ Well, you live and you learn. Knowing what I know now, there’s no doubt in my mind that we have to make the switch. Head to my stories to see how our extra fun 2-day road trip in an electric SUV went. Hopefully it answers all your questions about charging, battery life, convenience and ease, and even whether you can be in a badass vehicle while doing your part for the planet. Spoiler: the answer is yes.⠀ ⠀ And in the comments below, I’d love to hear your thoughts on electric cars - are you ready, did you make the switch, what are your concerns, what do you love? Let's discuss it all. #ad #DestinationElectric @DriveElectricUS @Ford @electrifyamerica https://instagr.am/p/CWoT6VlLA20/
