 As reported in today’s news, ShinCom Entertainment and Joon Media came to an amicable agreement on the 27th, and we have received the trademark rights to ‘Shinhwa’ and are in the process of having the name transferred.

Probably, on hearing this news today, the fans will be the happiest.

While remembering the past where we’ve had to gone through so much due to the trademark problem, we’re sure you will have thought of how meaningful today’s result is to all of us.

Although we have clearly been ‘Shinhwa’ for the past 17 years, we couldn’t be free over the name ‘Shinhwa’, and whenever unfortunate and frustrating things happened because of that, not just the Shinhwa members, but we know that the fans too have been hurt and wounded as well.

At the end of a long and tiring fight, now that we have completely found back the name 'Shinhwa’ Shinhwa and ShinCom Entertainment will work their best so that the value of the name will shine even brighter, and so that we can be stronger.

We thank the fans who have given us lots of support all these while, and will promote with more valuable and awesome activities with the name 'Shinhwa’.

In future, we ask for many encouragement from the fans and once again sincerely thank the fans who have stood by 'Shinhwa’ for 17 years.   Thank you.

2015 is the year of the comebacks, from Shinhwa to SHINee to months long of BIGBANG and the long-awaited 2PM.. & I saw GOT7’s first performances in LA.

NOW I CAN SEE SHINHWA LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER AND FINALLY BIGBANG AFTER 3 YEARS OF WAITING.
