I Am The Earth

"So is Gaia. Are you really the goddess of the Earth?"

"Yes, I am. I must say, I’m surprised you know about me. Not many people seem to recognize my name anymore."

"I always recognize your name. Would be hard to forget it, seeing as I see all of time and space.”

"All and time and space. Wow, that must be a wonderful thing to be a part of. I've always been fascinated by space," she commented with a smile. "What's it like among the stars?"

"And you made it all happen," he told her, "Nobody every appreciates that.  I figured it was about time somebody did.  Now you said you had more to show me in your garden?"

"Thank you for this," Gaia said, turning towards him with a smile. At the mention of her garden she pushed herself off the doorway where she had been leaning and stepped back. "Oh, yes! You still have to see the night garden, and the koi pond. And I'm pretty sure there's a few other things you might be interested in."

The Doctor smiled and kept watching.  ”That’s life forming on those planets,” he said, “Beautiful life.  You’ve helped create life.”

"First there was Chaos..." She whispered, more to herself than to the man next to her. "After Chaos came Gaia, and she brought about the skies and the mountains and the seas. Life was brought to the desolate planet." Gaia smiled as she watched planets form and life grow.

The Doctor walked over with her.  "I've actually seen this a few times before, but it's amazing every time," he told her.

"It's so beautiful..." She said quietly, smiling at him. "Thank you so much for showing me this Doctor. It's the first time anyone has truly talked to me in a long time, and, well, it's been wonderful so far."

As the TARDIS arrived, the Doctor snapped his fingers to open the doors.  ”I’ve sped up time using the TARDIS so we can watch the whole thing,” he told her, “The TARDIS shielding will protect us while we watch.”

Gaia ran over to the doors as the opened again and gazed out into space. It was truly amazing to be there, in the past, to watch the beginning of the galaxy. She leaned against the doorway, looking over her shoulder at him. "Well? Are you coming to watch this with me?"

"The beginning of the galaxy," the Doctor told her, "You are going to get to watch this galaxy form."

She spun around, surprised. The beginning of the galaxy, before her time. "To actually get to watch the galaxy form is just... wow," Gaia said, smiling happily at him.

"That’s the point," the Doctor said as he snapped his fingers to open the doors.  "This will take us where we are going.  It’s my space ship.  And my time machine.  It can go anywhere in time and space and I already have the perfect destination picked out for you.  One of the most beautiful sights in the entire universe in all of time and space."

Gaia grinned and slowly stepped into the space ship. She gazed around in awe as he spoke, taking in all the details of this magnificent ship. She had never seen anything like it before, it was wonderful. "So where are we going?" Gaia asked, glancing at him over her shoulder as she began to walk around.

"I have been called many things," said the Master, "however at this moment I prefer my true name Koschei."

"Koschei, that's an interesting name. Well then Koschei, my name is Gaia," she responded with a smile.

The Doctor snapped his fingers to open the doors.  ”It’s a surprise.  You’ll love it!” he told her.

She turned when the doors opened. Taking a few cautious steps forward, she rested a hand against the side of the box and looked back to the Doctor with a smile. "Can... Can I go in?"

"It’s a surprise," he said, walking towards the TARDIS.  He snapped his fingers and the doors opened.  "You’ve shown me a lot of beauty already, I’d like to show you one of the most beautiful things in the universe."

Gaia nodded and followed him along. "And what would that thing be?" She questioned with a smile, looking between him and the blue box they were currently standing in front of.

"It's beautiful," the Doctor said as he looked around.  He looked at her then smiled and took her hand.  "Before we go to far, I'd like to show you something if you don't mind."

She blinked, surprised at the offer. "Alright. What exactly are you going to show me?" She asked with a smile.

"I don’t mind at all," the Doctor said as he followed her.

"Awesome." Gaia grinned and started humming as she lead him towards a different corner of the park. This corner was filled with cherry blossom trees. A small straight man-made creek ran down the center, the trees lining either side. Gaia gracefully jumps over the small creek, dancing around the cherry blossom trees, her bare feet making no noise on the blossom covered ground. "This is one of my favourite areas of the park. What do you think?" She asked as she spun around to face him.

"I'll gladly stay until then," the Doctor told her and smiled.

"Great!" Gaia began to dance off towards their next destination, obviously in a good mood. "You know, I haven't made a friend in a long time.... You don't mind me calling you my friend, right?"

"Well, to be honest, I’m not from Earth," the Doctor told her, "I’m an alien that can travel through time and space and I’m pretty close to 1200 years old," the Doctor told her, "And I want to see it all."

"Impressive. Well come on then, time to explore! We don't have all day, old man," Gaia teased, poking his arm playfully. "You want to see everything so I'll show you everything. Oh! If you want to stay until it's dark, I can show you the night garden. And you have to see the secret rivers too. You might even see the water nymph if you're lucky!"
