The story takes place at Joe's cabin, Montana. According to my research, the cabin shown in 9x10 is much more likely to be located in Hawai'i than anywhere else. Apparently, the roof would need to be a lot steeper to clear snow if it were in a state with a lot of snowfall. So we will pretend the roof is steeper but the layout is the same:
The first floor plan is the original cabin, drawn to the best of my ability from endlessly rewatching 9x10 and 9x11. The majority of the assault in 9x10 comes from the east side of the cabin with the RPG blowing up the south window of the living room. The second floor plan is after Steve's renovations in the story.
Thimble, Montana, is entirely fictional but based entirely on Victor, Montana. The location I chose for Steve's cabin (completely randomly and fictionally) is this:
It faces the Biterroot Valley and is at approximately 6000ft altitude, which makes the weather in the story plausible.

I tried to rank the seasons of H50 but itās hard because each season has different strengths and weaknesses etc so instead hereās random thoughts. McDanno bias you have been warned.
Season One - The first and best. Team bonding! Arcs! Mysteries! Really solid first season with decent character work. Admittedly the champ box will never live up to its potential but it works here. No notes.
Season Two - Not as good as season one. It wasnāt broke and they tried to fix it anyway. New characters meh. Shelburne plot tedious and easily guessed. Kono plot meh. But decent episodes.
Season Three - Starts off great. Some of my favourite episodes are in the first half of this season (solid McDanno related). Degenerates into a mess typified by the Wo Fat capture episode in a daytime TV special. Doris is the worst.
Season Four - Loses its way a bit. Lacking clear direction, especially with Catherine (then she leaves). Not a massive fan of the new characters. Danny absences felt but one of the greatest McDanno episodes. Better than I remember generally.
Season Five - Feels better than season four. Danny gets something of a brief arc and absences mostly well explained. New characters forgettable. Kono sadly still stuck with relationship plots. Great McDanno episode. Solid 100th episode.
Season Six - Some very ridiculous episodes. Quality generally down but last two episodes of season were the first I watched so I kinda love them. Gabriel is a terrible running villain but killed off. CGI elephant awful. Iron Man suit worse.
Season Seven - The serial killer plot is uninteresting ultimately and goes on way too long. Madison Greyā¦sigh. Good guest stars. Chin gets a decent arc/plot. Bittersweet end for the core four. Adore 7X23.
Season Eight - Quite like new characters. Not interested in Adam. Probably the most decent of the post season 7 seasons. I donāt even mind the infamous Xmas episode that much. Some solid episodes with decent McDanno.
Season Nine - Quite forgettable apart from a handful of decent episodes. The 200th is good. Joe White dies and Iām only sad for Steve. Adamās subplot uninteresting. Feels like a show on the decline.
Season Ten - Show feels tired. Cast too big and unwieldy. Alex clearly reducing role action wise. New character fine and look female character interaction. Like Tani and Junior together. Still donāt care about Adam. Doris dies! Some great McDanno. Final episode amazing until last 5-10 minutes. The end.
