I get my foil backings printed through catprint.com - they do a great job!

As for tips, the best thing I think is to just make something you’d want to wear! I’m pretty obsessed with flowers (as evidenced by basically everything I do), so I wanted to make pins of the kinds of flowers I like. If there’s something you have a strong interest in, maybe other people will too!

And you didn’t ask, but just FYI - I get all of my pins made through pinprosplus.com. Good luck!

How to, step-by-step, make expressions mean different things by changing just one facial feature at a time. *shrug* I’m not very good at explaining how I do expressions, I just…feel out what kinds of muscles seem to fit and tweak those. And sometimes, ever so slightly, little adjustments could mean the difference between fury and euphoria.

how did you write the script for yellowcake? your vague style really makes the illustrations explain the story and it really inspires me

Hi! Thank you for the ask!

Before I started illustrating —> yellowcake <— I tried to have each part semi figured out in scripts/thumbnails. I knew exactly what I wanted to say before I decided on an image/idea/scene to present it.

I also followed a lot of story writing conventions like repetition, conflict, and themes. “The plot is the sequence of events in a story.”

I just took the base chart off of google but I think it’s pretty accurate! (Though I would argue there’s a second climax in peace).

In order to make interesting designs of clothing, look around the web about outfit design, keep your mind with fresh ideas so then you can draw nice outfits on your characters.

Remember to keep in mind color theory when designing an outfit too, keep it balanced unless you are aiming for a sparkledog, then go nuts with the colors.
