It’s funny cuz I once watched a YouTube video accusing him of transphobia 💀💀💀 given that his very last video had a pro-trans statement I don’t think he is, at least not anymore.

Prolbly because boring boomers (especially those who are devious right-wingers like the transphobe in the screenshot) aren’t really that in-touch with in video games, animation (both western and anime), and people who enthuse in those particular arts like Mat. They probably pass it off as “oh those industries that the youth are into”, and if they are paying attention, they’re complaining that they’re “violent w*ke media that are corrupting our children”. So I don’t really think they’d give a crud about who MatPat and other figures of his industry are.
