- Custom textured chisel (HB pencil as base with coarse charcoal texture)

- Custom textured round (same as above)

Sorry I don’t have a better way to share the brushes, these are ones that I’ve customized and changed to my preference/needs over the years. Generally a fan of chisel brushes and color/hue shifting brushes.

My introduction to Prowl was IDW and I hated his guts, but in a way that I thought he was very interesting.

And when I went to look for Jazz fics I kept seeing Prowl&Jazz shipped and I was like who is this guy always worming his way into Jazz fics. I feel like I was conditioned to like him while trying to read stuff about Jazz💀

JazzProwl rocks tho, but IDW Prowl and fic Prowl are like separate beings to me lol.

Getting into Transformers is forcing me to learn how to draw 3D shapes actually.

The green guy isn’t anyone specific so I guess is an OC. He’s the first time I tried drawing a cybertronian. His colors are based on migraine medicine and Advil lol

Also funny thing I thought Macaddam was pronounced Maca dam, not Mac addam until I watched some episodes of Cyberverse…

okay so i'm probably not going to be great at wording this. first of all, i wanna clarify this is an amazing animation!! i just feel like Scar's cane was thrown in. I kinda understand if people include a cane in fanart for him, but usually it's just thrown in, without meaning or thought put in. Scar doesn't use a cane, whether we're talking abt irl Scar or minecraft Scar. I understand the headcanon of it, it makes sense, but still. I really feel like this just doesn't make sense why a cane was used, because while yes, some cane users can run, majority can't run as fast as he is in this animation, and also this could've been done with him using a wheelchair if that makes sense. It just feels very thrown in without thought behind it, like when queer, disabled, POC, etc characters are thrown into books just as a token person and that person can be like "see!! i'm an ally!!" obviously i'm sure this wasn't want you meant, it just is the best explanation for it.

okay so I totally understand wanting to still include his disability, but if this were the other way around and he only used a cane in real life, would you draw him with a wheelchair? bc to me it seems people draw him with a cane to make it easier and not have to think about it as much (totally get that wheelchairs are hard to draw lol) but it becomes a problem when, like in this art it's his minecraft version, and no thought is put behind it. either make him disabled or don't, but don't just slap on a mobility aid to make it more "true" or "realistic" to him, especially when it's not one he even uses. people draw him with a cane not because that's how they see him (although they might), but just to include that little bit of disability then be able to forget about it, when for him, it's his whole life. idk i have many thoughts just no idea how to word them, you're very welcome to ask questions!! they'd help me to explain myself better actually

Thank you for the thoughtful feed back, and honestly I agree with your sentiment. I definitely was questioning my design choices and the honesty of the portrayal when I was making this project! If you don’t mind I’d like to explain some of my thoughts about it?

My final design was based on a few things. Scar has talked about how his 3rd life performance is a beta version of his hermitcraft salesman character which is often depicted with a cane, so it was definitely influenced by that at first.

For a while I would avoid my project and thought about how it felt odd to boil down his character design to “add a lil bit of disability” and was going to nix it completely, but I saw fans who see Scar drawn with a cane and how they feel even a little bit connected and represented with the depiction so I decided to keep it.

So yes I could have chosen not to give him a aid at all (which I decided not to do) or a designed w/ the wheelchair but it basically comes down balancing my skill level and time spent on the project.

Other note I am glad you spoke up and I got to discuss this with someone!
