And no, im not a yumeshipper myself </3 I'm aro and romance is not something i've experienced or really feel at all :3

But I am very big on various fandom culture, especially the exploration of moe/moe kyaras, and have read a bunch of research literature on it!! It's very interesting to me how humans can make bonds with a fictional character and love them. Basically falling in love with an idea... a mirror that can morph and become a medium of your self exploration.

I also really enjoy oshikatsu :J i think collecting/making physical things of your oshi is just so much fun... here's some of my desert duo stuff:

- scar and grian are coworkers

- pearl and scar are oomfs on twitter, even before scar met grian. Pearl is an artist and Scar is a big yumetwt account. They don't rlly interact with each other though, only follows each other and occasionally like and comment. But its funny to know that pearl and scar are oomfs before grian even met scar 😭😭

- grian starts doing oshikatsu with scar when they discover that they're both a yumeshipper. He finally made a yumetwt account after like a couple months of scar convincing him to make one. Scar starts interacting with him a lot & tags him in his nuikatsu double date pictures

- i think it would be funny if one day a scar and grian twitter interaction gets a hit tweet. Pearl sees the hit tweet and found it funny so he sends it to grian and grian starts having heart attacks because he thought he's been found out (he's STILL trying to keep his yumeship a secret from Pearl).

- season 2 of GIGS gets announced and everyone is so excited to watch it!! What nobody expected in the new season was for there to be... tension??? Among mr wizard and max blunder??? The first season didnt really have any of these, only establishing group dynamics & friendships, so everyone started going insane when wizmax?? Is getting subtle homoerotic action?? A lot of queerbait accusation starts flying at this point.

- Grian and scar is in denial at first, they're like "yeah bros do this all the time" only for it to crash down the more episodes come out and yeppppppp last episode has a canon confirmed wizmax romance scene (either a confession or a kiss scene up to you). Everyone goes crazy about it. Wizmax stocks goes on an exponential high. Scar and grian's jaws drop. Their f/os.... are dating each other...?!!?? My fictional boyfriend is dating your fictional boyfriend???!!! You can kinda picture yourself how crazy their twitter timeline is.

- anyway, their weekly nuikatsu double dates gets kinda awkward now because why the hell is your mr wizard nui has his hands all over my max blunder nui... why are our nuis looking at each other like that....

Scar isn't really trying to keep his yume ship a secret, unlike Grian who is deathly embarassed by it.

Grian notices a little mini shrine (Max blunder nui, deco photocard, little acrylic standee) decorating Scar's office desk and was like "oh.. i assume your favourite character is max blunder..." and scar excitedly starts yapping to him about his love for max blunder and gives him a tour of his photo album of his various yumeship art commissions and Grian is just left there feeling overwhelmed, inspired, but also incredibly outmogged because Scar is so dedicated to Max Blunder, Grian starts questioning if he should also start buying merch and getting commissions done.

Grian, inspired by scar's freakiness, starts researching for artists comms and braves himself to get a ship art for him and Mr. Wizard. He's super nervous about it but seeing Scar's freak collection rlly motivated him. When the art is finally done, he starts asphyxiating and sobbing and punching the walls. It's literally him and mr wizard... what the hell... they're real....

He loves the drawing so much he keeps secretly looking at it and giggling to himself. He was looking at it at work, when scar sneaks up behind him and was like "dude! Why didnt you tell me you were a mr wizard yume! We could've had a nuikatsu double date!!" (Meaning: going on dates in cafes/other public places with a nui doll of your favourite character)

Grian is super embarassed he got found out but Scar is literally so excited about it, they go on "double dates" together...... 😭 (grian x mr wizard and scar x max blunder)

Not sure if this will stay, but my idea rn is that gempearl is already dating, so when watching GIGS, Pearl gets a mysterious attatchment to Ruby Nyx and she's like "huh! I wonder why i like this character so much!"

And Grian just looks at her like she's crazy. He's like "girl are you kidding me she's literally your girlfriend"

Also. More things i thought up: in the little convention comic, Grian lied to Pearl saying he got an extra shift at work when actually he's going to the con in secret. He's embarassed about liking GIGS and he didn't want anyone to know, especially Pearl cuz she's gonna make fun of him so bad 😭

Pearl goes to the con with Gem (who is cosplaying Ruby ofc), and sees a cool max & mr wizard couple cosplayer and was excited cuz she wanted to get pictures, only for her to get closer and *squints* "is that... grian?"

Grian notices her and bolts, leaving Scar all alone and confused.

HAHA NO WORRIES!!! I fully 100% support any aggresive language to my Grian or Thang. Whack them and strangle them and throw rocks at them, it's our love language ❤️

It reminds me of roger and Jessica rabbit with tall and beautiful (aka Jessica/scar) and dorky creature (aka roger/grian) xD
