“Idiot,” He breathed; whispering the only word that he could manage at that time, breaking the silence that was engulfing the two followed with a gentle smack that landed on Hyung Jun’s chest. He reluctantly pulled away, long enough to let his gaze glided over his as he brought his hand up in a swift motion to wipe anymore tears that threatening to run down his cheeks.
It felt all too familiar, it felt good to be with Hyung Jun; the only person he didn’t have to put a façade to, the one who knew himself well without the need to explain himself. As the corners of lips curved into a faint, yet a genuine smile; he closed the short distance between them, pressing his lips against the other awaiting ones.
When he walked in he did not expect to feel his heart jump so much. His finger came up to cover his heart while he walked closer to his lounging husband. He felt afraid that he would not be accepted back easily. He had been away for a while after all, and there had not been much warning that he would go. Not to mention the beautiful man in front of him was not even aware of when the younger would show up.
He hesitated slightly, not sure what to say or even do after such a long time. What could he say? He watched the man for a while before leaning down and laying a kiss to his cheek. He said the words slowly and deliberately,"My love, I'm home. You are wonderful for being able to wait." He only hope what he said was so true as he leaned forward to pulled his most beloved into his arms.
The soft gentle fragrance of his beloved wafted to Hyung Jun's nose with every slight movement from the older man embraced in his arms. He had felt like centuries passed in those few months apart from him. He held his husband in silence, unable to really speak more words than the few he had began with. The suddenly realization of just how much the singer had missed his lover, best friend and soulmate hit him like a harsh wave the moment his arms wrapped around the older.
When he heard the soft whisper calling him the name that felt all too familiar and perfect for the situation, Hyung Jun let out a light chuckle and gladly took the slap to his chest. The action actually made him feel more at home than the hug, because he knew they would be strong together again once more.
A slight smile formed on his face as he lifted the youngers thin hand to his lips and laid gentle kisses over them. Each kiss was soft like pettles falling to the ground. When he noticed the tears on the older, he leaned in to press gentle kiss to take each drop away. His hand reached up to cup the elder's cheek while looking into his eyes lovingly. He could notice the sparkle in Jung Min's eyes were not as vibrant as before, but he intended to fix that.
He leaned in to meet the lips of his precious husband. They perfectly fit together and were pressed soft together before he pulled only slightly away enough to press multiple barely parted lips kisses. The thumb on the others cheek gently rubbed before the hand moved to sink into the hair of the other.
He pulled away gently and rested his forehead against the other's. His eyes closed, allowed a tear to slip pass the soft lashes. He breathed in slowly and tried to let out a few more words that ended up barely being a whisper, "I missed you too."
His fingers gently slid down to the older's shoulders and he sighed, "I'm home. Finally." His arms wrapped around Jung Min once more and just burried his head in his shoulder while breathing in the sweet scent that he had missed at an unbelievable level.
That scent, was the smell of home more than any other smell that resided in their house. No, home was not where he slept, but rather who he slept next to. Not the right bed, but the right person. At the time he was reminded so much of the love he had felt so strong before. He knew that he truly was the moon. Jung Min's love is what made him happy and even more in love. The sun shining bright is what made the moon shine brightly once more.
