extremely funny to me that Kermit the Frog is the only main overlap character between Sesame Street and The Muppets. imagine your day job is hanging out in a community of lovely people that genuinely just want to help kids learn and care about everyone so so much and then your night job is the reason that you have to stay up to date on your rabies AND tetanus vaccine

Listen I love Steve Whitmire but some of his stans can be so toxic. We don’t know the fully story of why he was fired and knowing Disney I believe it was most likely bullshit as well but I see too many of you shitting on Matt’s Kermit every time there is a new muppets project. And with Rizzo and Bean back with a new performer I fear seeing another discourse set about him. Like I get missing him, and preferring one performer over another is totally fine. But to say you aren’t gonna watch it because a man who hasn’t been performing for the muppets since 2016 isn’t there anymore is ridiculous. Steve seems to have moved on himself. If you are truly a fan, support him in his current endeavours instead of crying about him not working for the muppets anymore. And if you are a muppets fan be open-minded about new projects with them instead of instead of shitting on newer performers who are giving it their all in bringing these characters to life and bringing Steve up each time we hear Kermit speak in one.

Now that Stranger Things is over, we can do as on more important things: THE MUPPETS ARE COMING BACK
