Are there certain conditions Chinese idols must follow in order to protect their careers and images in the eyes of China? I remember another tarot reader actually saying that most of them don’t care too much about these political conflicts, as they are based in Korea most of the time and actively trying to build a career out of K-pop, not really caring too much about what their home country’s governments are doing. I know it can be a touchy and sensitive topic all around, but I do find it kind of nice when Chinese K-pop idols are close friends with other Taiwanese, Hong Konger, or Macanese idols, despite the political context and issues behind their countries’ conflicts and history with each other.
