Mad Hatter's main Inspirations:

For the 66' version Jervis, I mainly took inspiration from that steel/powdery blue he wears and the eyes that pop out of his hat for our cheshire cat brooch. I think it's such a fun feature to have never seen again,

I think we all knew BTAS Jervis was going to be on here. He's the one I grew up with, and he comes off very unassuming and sweet until he snaps.

I loved Enchanted a lot after it came out, and Nathaniel's push-over nature and physical appearance added to our Jervis being the plush softie that he is!

The Disney animated version is just so colorful, I had to make sure that showed through in my design! And the butterflies are thanks to the ones at the beginning of the movie (and how our Mad Hatter has ADHD)

Anyone remember the Barbie retelling of Rapunzel?? Hobie is just a nervous little wreck, but he's also caring and a bit sassy, so he's a perfect inspiration. He also got me to give Jervis a lil' sprinkle of freckles just on his nose.

Tim Burton's version of the White Rabbit is again, very similar in personality, plus that's our Jervis' more accurate voice claim!

The OG Alice in Wonderland book art is mainly here because I wanted the nice browns and stripey accents to pair with all the bright colors,
