Hi! We are still kickin'.

Things haven't been great for us, and we are trying our best to recover and take care of ourselves.

I just had the absolute worst semester of college ever! It took up all of my time, and I had to catch up on breaks, so I didn't fall behind. I have developed a new mysterious ailment that I've been trying to figure out for a while and have been having to do lots of medical tests for. Now that the semester is over, I'm going to do my best to get back into art, especially this blog! I miss working on this au so much!

Sarsee is also dealing with a lot. I won't go into it because that is for her to share. But I will say, it is a lot.

We still love this blog, and we haven't given up on it! We may not post super frequently until these issues are resolved but we are still here!

While not originally planned, Jane Doe is a part of our au now. Besides being tagged as "Jane Doe" in this post, any others will just have "The Doe" and the "Human Cipher" listed, as it's more fitting. It is associated with S.T.A.R. Labs, as an elite task force member as well as one of the most successful experiments.

She craves an identity she lacks, something that Waller gives only in tasks. It will gladly fulfil any role given to it, although has a tendency to become obsessive over certain identities.

I'd like to think of this collection as "Batman-takes-the-rogues-on-a-long-roadtrip-and-is-cripped-with-regret-3-seconds-in"

I imagine BTAS Riddler could be a sort of mentor figure. He seems like one of the most level-headed Riddlers, and if he worked for a video company, he'd likely be decent at working with others. So he'd probably have the patience to deal with our Ed. I don't think bickering is out of the question, but it would probably be pretty tame and become something constructive. Overall, it could go well for them.

I think the Scarecrows could also get along. They wouldn't be super close or anything, but would definitely share notes about fear. There's certainly a lot of damage these two could do together.

The hatters would get along initially. Our Jervis would be pretty happy to find someone to relate to, and of course, to infodumb about Alice in Wonderland with.

But it wouldn't last very long. Our Jervis would hate himself more.

At least in our au Bane is straight, he's never felt attracted to men like that. But, yes, I often joke with different characters/scenarios that those actions could be interpreted as pretty fruity. Bane must be really thirsty to cross an ocean's worth of water for a man he hasn't even met yet, ;)
