Eight years ago this morning I waited outside of a San Francisco AT&T store in the dark for the first iPhone to come out. Since I can't find a picture of that, here's a screenshot from an ad I did for Apple's most unsuccessful product, predecessor to the iPhone & iPad, the Newton... and a photo ad for the first iMac.

Don't have any personal photos to share that involve Letterman, but I made this. In a state of emotional crisis knowing Dave's last show airs in a few hours here in CA. He's not everybody's bag, but he means more to me & a lot of other people than I can express. From staying up late to watch with my dad when I was a kid, to YouTube holes & watching the previous night's highlights on YouTube every morning. Nobody in entertainment I've watched for as many years, or that's brought me that much joy. #ThanksDave

The world lost this guy too soon 25 years ago today, but his work remains as important & inspiring as ever.

I've seen & heard @reggiewatts perform in many contexts over the years... on podcasts, his old band Maktub, Comedy Bang Bang, mostly solo. He's always brilliant- but seeing him with his Late Late Show band last night was a revelation. They're going to give The Roots a run for their money. SO. GOOD.
