while neither of them would quite dare to say it out loud, makoto, kyoko and byakuya all care not just about you, but each other as well!

though they don't have the most normal friendship there is. they did become friends through abnormal circumstances, so nothing about them is fully normal. plus, they're all ultimates, who aren't what you'd consider ‘normal’ either

makoto is the most normal out of the bunch! he cares deeply about the other two, as well as you! he's absolutely in love with you and it's obvious to everyone!

kyoko is a bit distant at first. she struggles to show that she loves you, but she'll show her love for you through small acts

and byakuya– he's a bit of a prick, though not to you! he treats you like royalty and is mean to everyone else, while being an absolute sweetheart to you!

byakuya is also the most jealous out of the three! he hates that he has to share you, though he does ultimately tolerate makoto and kyoko! still, he wants to be your favorite and hates it when you're not paying enough attention to him!

kyoko can be a bit jealous too, but she struggles so much with expressing her emotions that you probably won't even realize it! she'll just grab your arm and stare at you, wanting you near her, while unable to communicate that

kyoko is incredibly touch starved, wanting to be affectionate with you, while also unsure how to do it!

makoto is the most affectionate out of the three! and he happily helps kyoko grow more comfortable with affection as well!

It’s time for all the companies and organizations to change their logos to rainbow and pretend it makes them the worlds best allies!

Puppy/Hybrid AU Masterlist

Saw the concept of ‘forever puppies’ on here applied to hybrids awhile back, and after my idea of combining hybrids with omegaverse…I had an idea.

Puppyboy hybrid who wants so badly to be a big, scary dog, to be an alpha, but is just…puppy. That’s all he’ll ever be. Born to be forever loved and doted on, not to be a predator.

Imagine…He wakes up in the middle of the night, crawling into your bed and wrapping his arms around you. At first, you don’t think much of it; it’s not uncommon for him to come sneak into yours and your boyfriend’s bed, startled by some random noise or car headlights from outside. However, you quickly learn that isn’t the case.

“Trauma incoming!” Dana’s voice cut cleanly through the corridor as the doors swung open.

You were scanning a patient’s scan when the call came through. Instantly, you were moving, stepping out of the room just in time to see a gurney being rushed past, the team already in motion. Without hesitation, you fell in with them, Whitaker and Mel close behind as you took over.

“On my count—one, two, three.”

The patient was transferred onto the trauma bed in one coordinated movement. The room snapped into focus: monitors, gloves, clipped voices, the steady rhythm of emergency medicine taking over instinct. You leaned in immediately, scanning, assessing, working through the familiar sequence. Then, Whitaker cut away the patient’s hoodie. The scissors paused for half a beat.

Beneath the fabric, on a plain T-shirt, was a symbol you knew too well: grey and black, stark against the cotton.

The Punisher skull.

Something in your chest tightened before you could stop it. Just a flicker. Just enough. The patient noticed.

“The Punisher rocks,” he muttered, almost proud.

You blinked once. Once only. Then, your expression reset. Clinical, composed, already moving on as if nothing had happened.

“Airway and breathing are clear,” Santos reported smoothly.

“Dr King, C and D?” You prompted.

Mel stepped in, eyes flicking briefly over the patient before she answered, steady and precise.

“Circulation is good. No disability noted. Arms and legs are mobile.”

“Good,” you replied automatically.

But you saw it. Felt it, really. The way Mel’s gaze lingered for a fraction too long on the shirt. The way Whitaker noticed it too. The way the room, for just a moment, shifted.

“Hey,” Whitaker murmured quietly beside Mel, low enough not to carry. “You alright?”

She hesitated, then nodded. “Yeah. I’m good.”

The team kept moving. The patient was stabilised and eventually sent off for CT, while hospital swallowing the tension whole as if it had never existed.

“You have fans.”

You were stretched out on the on-call room bed, exhaustion finally catching up now that the chaos had quieted. Your phone was wedged between your shoulder and ear, your hand digging into a plastic bag of snacks; Frank’s doing. A careful selection of things he knew you liked, tucked together like he had planned it down to the last detail.

“I do, do I?” Frank’s voice came through, amused in that low, rough way of his: half laugh, half disbelief.

“You don’t sound pleased,” you teased, chewing slowly.

“Having fans was not my goal, sweetheart.”

You hummed softly, letting the silence stretch for a moment between you. The kind of silence that didn’t feel empty. Just…familiar.

Frank was home for a few days. That alone made everything feel a little lighter. 

“I saw it on the news earlier,” you added. “Even the cops are backing it now.”

“They don’t even know what it means.”

His voice had dropped, rougher now. Controlled, but edged. You could picture him clearly. What he was doing, where his hands were, the way his jaw would be set. There was rustling on his end.

“What are you doing?” you asked.

“Cleaning my… stuff.” The pause said everything. Weapons. You didn’t need him to say it outright.

Frank had tried, at first, to keep that part of his life separate from you but you had shut that down early. You had chosen him fully, not selectively. He had never really known what to do with that kind of acceptance.

You shifted slightly, lying back again, voice softening. You talked about your shift. About how a certain patient had crossed the line with you claiming he wanted to see a real doctor instead of a nurse. Frank listened the way he always did like every detail mattered, even the ones you didn’t think did.

“You want me to come down there?” he asked eventually.

“No,” you said immediately, shaking your head even though he couldn’t see it. “I handled it.”

A pause. Then, quieter, “That’s my girl.”

You exhaled, almost smiling.

“So,” you began, shifting tone slightly, “I was thinking since the Punisher has become so—”

The door opened and Mel stood there. Your eyes found her and paused mid-sentence.

“—Sorry,” she said quickly, already backing out. “I didn’t know anyone was in here.”

Before you could respond, she was gone. You lowered the phone slowly.

“…Frank,” you said carefully.

“What was that?” his voice tightened immediately.

“Nothing. Just someone had walked in…”

You frowned slightly debating if you should go after Mel and wondered how much she had truly heard.

Mel didn’t stop moving until she reached the nurse’s station. She grabbed a chart. Then, another. Anything to look busy. Anything to stop replaying what she had just walked into. Because technically, this time it wasn’t her fault. The last time, on the roof,  hadn’t been either But still. How was she supposed to know her boss was dating the Punisher?

“Hey, Mel. You alright?”

Langdon’s voice pulled her out of it. He was already beside her, concern written across his face, hand hovering beside her arm far but still close. 

“I’m good,” she said quickly. He didn’t look convinced.

“Alright,” he said after a beat. “Come with me.”

She hesitated but followed. He led her down the corridor and into the stairwell, quieter there, away from the noise.

“What’s going on?” he asked. “You’ve been off all day.”

“I—” She swallowed. “It’s nothing.”

“Yeah, I don’t believe that. His voice softened slightly but his eyes stayed on her.

“Well?” he pressed gently. “Is it your sister?”

“No. She’s fine. Just complaining I’ve missed our Friday pizza nights.”

That earned a faint smile from him. “Then, what is it?”

The silence stretched as her gaze fell on the space between them. Finally, she exhaled.

“Can you keep a secret?”

Back at the nurses’ station, Javadi leaned casually against the counter.

“So,” she began, “I’m just saying… Mel and Langdon in the stairwell earlier? Very close.”

Santos looked up immediately. “Close how?”

“Close,” Javadi repeated, dragging it out. “Like… personal space not really existing anymore close.”

Whitaker didn’t even look up from his charting. “He has a wife and kids.”

Santos blinked. Javadi shrugged. “I’m just observing.”

Her gaze drifted across the room to you.

“Oh,” she added, interest sharpening. “Speaking of things I probably shouldn’t know…”

Santos groaned. “I can’t be involved in this right now. I have so much charting to do.”

But Javadi ignored her. “I heard something else.”

Whitaker sighed. “Of course you did.”

“This one’s about y/l/n,” she said, pointing subtly toward you, “And the Punisher.”

That got their attention. Santos straightened. “What?”

Whitaker paused entirely. Javadi lowered her voice like she was sharing classified information.

“I overheard Mel talking to Langdon. Something about it. I couldn’t hear everything but let’s just say… she knows something.”

Whitaker rubbed his face. “This is how rumours start.”

“I’m just repeating what I heard,” Javadi said innocently. Santos leaned in anyway. “What exactly did she say?”

“Why are you all standing around?” Dana’s voice cut through them, instantly. She stood at the edge of the station, arms crossed, expression already unimpressed.

“Do you have patients? Charts? Or, is gossip now part of patient care?”

Santos straightened so fast her pen nearly fell. “Yes—we were—”

“Working,” Whitaker finished quickly. 

Javadi took an immediate step back like she had never been involved in anything at all. Dana’s gaze swept over them.

“Good. Because unless this improves patient outcomes, I suggest you all return to your jobs.”

Javadi slipped away, leaving Whitaker staring down at the chart in his hands like it might offer him an escape route. Santos, meanwhile, dropped back into her notes, dictation picking up again as if the entire conversation had never happened.

Dana paused beside Whitaker.

“So, Whitaker,” she asked lightly, “What’s the situation?”

He glanced up at her, clearly caught off guard. “Er… what situation?”

Her smile was almost pleasant. Almost.

“You know there’s nothing that happens in my ED that I don’t know about,” she said, almost sing-song, “And if there is… I will find out.”

She moved on, leaving him standing there a little stunned, like he’d just been subtly threatened. Santos let out a short snort beside him.

“We really need to talk to Mel and figure out what she knows.”

Whitaker shook his head immediately. “I’m staying out of it.”

“Yeah, right,” Santos muttered, though her attention had already drifted across the room, toward you. Her gaze lingered and she couldn’t help wondering, not for the first time, whether you were really involved with the Punisher.
