I was curious, are the really high up eyes and really long nose bridges on your humans a stylization choice?

Usually yeah, but sometimes I plain fuck up for drawing things from an angle and seeing my sketches incorrectly. I used to draw in a pretty semi-realistic style but it started to feel boring to me personally to try to replicate things that already exist, if that makes sense :’)! Trying now just to play with proportions and see where my style goes eventually.

Two doodles that started as random busts but turned into me figuring out and refining my other /kind of/ ocs’ designs; Kral’lise the retainer, and a yet to be named elezen who i’m planning to turn into Beck’s adoptive sibling.

I’ll probably change his face a bit since he looks too young here, but we will see the extend of those changes once i’ve at least somewhat set in stone his and my miqo’te lad’s shared background. For some reason it’s often easier for me to figure out a character’s appearance once i’ve gotten to known their personality, motives etc :’>

2006 VS 2016

omg i had almost forgotten how i used to draw basically all my human/humanoid characters - chin so sharp you could cut paper and body thin enough to slither through the crack of a door.

Although the original design is a mess, the 12 year old me’s art never fails to delight me in a weird way. practice will bear fruit eventually it seems \o/!!

the Sinclair (half) siblings from a modern fantasy themed rp. from left to right; Adriran (15), Azazel (20), Julius (18) and Cherie (14), the latter actually being the only one who is in no way related to her siblings for she is a changeling (although unbeknownst to her and the others) where as her eldest brother is only a half-supernatural (nephilim from his father’s side). i’ve been meaning to draw a family portrait-like picture of these four forever now and finally got around to actually do it. i’m still not too fond of adding bg to linearted pieces but hey it’s something :’)!
