yessss. like Steve is SO MAD that he’s got feelings for Tony. IT’S A WEAKNESS, IT’S DISGUSTING, ALL THOSE TIMES I SHOULD HAVE WON BUT I DIDN’T BECAUSE I LOVED YOU!!! oh my goddddd yes. (also i like the idea of Steve going back to Tony over and over, laying out all of his plans because he wants him to wake up and suffer and he’s obsessed with justifying himself to him but also doing it because old Steve is in there going WAKE UP AND STOP THIS TONY, YOU’RE THE ONLY ONE HE’LL TELL THIS TO, YOU GOTTA WAKE UP) 

my favourite thing is how steve’s like “yes past me loved you it was a weakness” and yet what he does now is go to a comatose tony and tell him he knows tony will wake up because TONY IS JUST THAT GREAT. TONY ALWAYS REBUILDS AND BEATS ALL THE ODDS. and then HE ACTUALLY BEGS TONY TO WAKE UP AND FIGHT HIM. watch steve destroy everything tony loves. but NO NO EMOTIONS INVOLVED THERE, ALL JUST COLD CALCULATION.

but oh my god i love the idea of steve coming back to tony? and imagine his new shield agents going “hmm the director sure spends a lot of time in that creepy room with stark.”

AND OH GOD IMAGINE TONY ACTUALLY /WAS/ REGISTERING WHAT STEVE’S SAYING. EXCEPT HE’S HURT TOO BADLY AND HE’S NOT PROCESSING IT. BUT WITH EACH DAY, HE’S CLOSER TO IT. AND ONE DAY HE DOES WAKE UP.

and hydra steve stares.

and tony’s freshly out of his coma state but he knows he can’t let on he remembers what steve said. so he plays.

and steve’s frozen on stop and then he just says finally and insists tony gets a med check out and he keeps hovering over him and makes tony stay close and tony starts planning steve’s downfall right there

“Tony please, just wake up to the sound of my voice, please, do it for me, ONLY JUST SO I CAN DESTROY YOU.”

yessss. it’s almost like he’s going to Tony because the old Steve is desperate for him to fix it, fix it like he does everything, if he would just WAKE UP he would fix it. And meanwhile Hydra Steve is on top seething because FEELINGS!! HAVE NO PLACE!!! IN MY COMING WORLD!! especially not these ones

Aaaaand I did it!

Aight guys here’s the AU I kinda sorta promised with my New Year update: an original non-canon spinoff entitled Love’s Guise, aka the Boyfriend!AU

Soooo in this AU we have Bill Cipher, a legit maniacal dream demon, masquerading as Bill Cipes, a normal/handsome/intelligent/quirky/not really fully mentally stable college student. All so he can date Pine Tree.

Somewhat diverging from canon, but what this AU entails is Bill coming back from being erased, and, stalking the Pines twins afterwards, develops an attraction to our favorite dork. He knows Dipper would never, ever, ever like him as him, so instead he creates a human persona that will allow him to romance Dipper. Course, Dipper, who’s thicker than Nicki Minaj, falls for it, but questions are raised like: Where does he live? What’s his job? What is his course? Who are his parents? How does he know what Hitler wore during a fancy dinner?

Bill deals with it with two methods: lying and a little mind manipulation.

Yes, although I will have fluffy comics in this AU, this is ultimately Bill’s story - he knows and accepts that what he is doing is wrong, magically making Dipper forget his inquiries. Think of it like the Mist in the Percy Jackson series - it makes you believe what you want to believe. Will Bill continue to deceive Dipper just for the sake of being with him? Or will he eventually tell the truth and let Dipper see him for who he really is?
