I really don’t get the appeal of infantilizing Hyde. Even if it wasn’t weird and gross (which it is), it’s also just not as entertaining.
Old gilf who develops a chemical solution that makes him gross in order to fuck and kill is arguably more fun than whatever the hell you guys are going for.
Also! The symbolism and lit devices used in strange case are more impactful if the text is being interpreted correctly. But that’s a different post.

It was a good while back, more when I was Vaguely in the community (aka hyperfixated. It's been AWHILE.) But there was this one person who did that like... split thing where Jekyll and Hyde were two different bodies. Their Hyde was incredibly young and frail looking- I believe they even straight up described him as looking like a child.
And then they also had their Jekyll, who was very much so drawn and described as an Older Man.
So when it was shown that they shipped the two together... yeah it was kinda fucked. I can't remember much but I think their name was Biscuit or smthn like that and they're gone now. I think people ended up realizing it was Weird and then found some dirt on em.
