Yep. Even though I'm the slowest of the slow right now.
Iām not exactly know for being fast myself.
Important
If I were to move BāElanna to a multimuse blog, would you still be interested in rping with her?

Ellis let BāElanna lead the way, listening to her explanation of these events. If it was just meant to be a harmless prank, he could understand it. People needed something to do that wasnāt work, otherwise their days could just get monotonous and nobody wanted to deal with cabin fever.
The Klingon Chief was well known as being lenient for the most part but, if someone was to take advantage of that, she would not hesitate to make them pay.Ā āIām sure theyāve learned their lesson now. Is this the system?ā He asked, pointing to a screen that was definitely not showing Federation Standard.
BāElanna looked over at the console he pointed at and scowled. Swearing she walked over to it and no other words were needed for it to be clear that this was not the original faulty work station. āIāll kill them!ā Which she of course wouldnāt do, but the ensigns who had started this prank would do best to stay out of her way for a few days. ā
āIt must have spread. But how?ā She quickly turned to another console, punching in a couple commands, starting to run a level 3 diagnostic. A level three diagnostic meant that for now, the system were out of service and BāElanna needed to keep an eye on one of the monitors. For the time being, she seemed to have forgotten the poor lieutenant, though she hadnāt, it was just that the system took priority over giving Ellis her attention.

Klingon?
I donāt understand what you mean? You donāt know what a klingon is or something else?
Natara didnāt even know why she was here today. Honestly, the more time she spent away from anything her dad was associated with the better, but somehow on her days off from school, she couldnāt help but be drawn to some research and some of the lectures that the Vulcan Science Academy gave, so here she was. She didnāt have to be in the same room as he father, she could avoid him easily. Though it hurt her to do so, it was a complicated relationship.Ā
Ā She was currently now sitting on a bench with one of her PADDs, scrolling through Starfleet Academyās website when the sight of a girl not Vulcan caught her eye and it astonished her that she was Klingon. What was one even doing here on Vulcan and could they even trust her?? But then again, Natara was more open minded than most people. And more accepting. Granted that could be a terrible judgement of error in her chosen career choice, but Natara always saw the best in people.Ā
She blushed a bright emerald green when she realized that she had been staring and looked back down at her PADD once more once the other girl had spoken up. āIām sorryā¦I didnāt mean toā she said softly as she closed her eyes for a moment, composing herself once more before opening them once more. āPlease understand. It was not my intention to make you uncomfortable. Iām Natara. Natara Grayson.ā
BāElanna straightened up, not wanting to look weak in front of the vulcan girl, though she couldnāt do much about her heavy breathing. The planets low oxygen and high gravity were taxing even for a klingon. āKlingons donāt get uncomfortable,ā she replied, still beingĀ defensive. Klingons could, of course, be uncomfortable and she was half-human. A lot of people actually felt uncomfortable around vulcans, so she was not the first.
āThat doesnāt sound like a vulcan name.ā That the comment might be seen as rude, didnāt cross her mind, the surprise had made her said it before she could give it any further thought. It was the way she was hot-headed and impulsive, not a good combination. āIām BāElanna Torres.ā Just like the girl in front of her, she had a name that indicated two different cultures.
jrlixutxnant:
As soon as heād explained himself, she seemed to calm down. Her tone had definitely seemed less angry now compared to a moment ago, so he was happier about that. Besides, seeing a familiar face in this confusing place made it seem a little more bearable.
āThank you.ā Ellis replied, waiting for her to lead the way to the system in question.Ā āAny idea what caused it?ā She was an engineer, she had to understand these systems better than him.
She made sure he followed her before leading him towards the station. āIt seem to have started as a prank. Thereās a prank war going on between two Ensigns, itās never caused any problems for the ship until now.ā As she spoke about the situation, a hint of her famous klingon mood bled through in her voice. āI had a talk with them.ā They would most likely not do anything like this again.
Generally, BāElanna was known to be a casual chief, not minding what her personnel did, but when their actions damaged the ship in any way, that was where she drew the line.

Taking the mobile emitter, Reg grinned and fastened it to his arm, waiting a moment for his program to automatically transfer over. Now he had free rein to wander the entire ship, or anywhere else he might feel like going. It was sort of amazing. Heād really need to study this emitter sometimeā¦
But later.Ā āSo no more. Well⦠actually, do say more. I assume you need my help? A sharp holographic mind? An extra pair of hands down in engineering?ā He winked and smiled even more.Ā āAll you need do is ask.ā
BāElanna waited until he had fasten the mobile emitter on his arm and transferred his program before she walked towards the door. Most of the time she seemed to be restless, but now it was obvious that she were more than just that.
Regās response managed to trick a small smile out of her, but also a rather sarcastic look. āBoth, actually. Thereās also damaged power grid we canāt reach, the compartment is flooded with radiation.ā Some people might have moral problems with sending the hologram into such a situation, but BāElanna knew he wouldnāt be harmed and that it was necessary for them to get the damaged fixed as soon as possible. First then, they could sanitize the area of radiation and that area would also get itās power restored.
Hello. I havenāt forgotten BāElanna, itās just taking some time to get back to roleplaying after two weeks away and a couple of more with very little time for this. Iām going to try and make all replies by Sunday.

Weāll also have a deadline on the 3/3, so when Iām not working, Iāll be doing homework.

Ellis didnāt like going down to Engineering, but his job sent him all over the ship at times. The Engineering bay was a maze of various systems, each intertwining to form a working starship. Watching the engineers dash around the large room, some taking more inventive shortcuts to get to those hard to reach corners, it was a strange thing to witness.
He took his time going through the area, making sure not to touch anything for fear of breaking it. Heād almost made it to a junction when he noticed someone out of the corner of his eye, a figure emerging from a nearby tube. Recognising the Klingon curse, he knew exactly who it was.
āSorry, Lieutenant, I didnāt mean to.ā Ellis apologised quickly, she did sound a little angry about it all.Ā āI was sent down here, apparently one of these systems is suddenly speaking in French and I have to help fix it.ā
( @hybridengineer )
āItās fine,ā she replied, now sounding less angry. Instead a small smile appeared when she heard why he was down here.Ā āThat be the EPS monotoring station for deck six to eight. Itās been a bit going through three different languages with the French now.ā Thankfully, the visual aspects of the monitor worked as usual, otherwise it would have been a serious situation.
āCome on, Iāll take you to it.ā BāElanna was busy, but she also felt a bit sorry for having raised her voice earlier. It wasnāt like he had scared her on purpose and she had a tendency to react in a way that looked like anger for pretty much anything.

It was almost like waking up from a good long nap. Reg knew that something was different about him ā knew that he was a hologram, that heād been sent to Voyager, that something had gone wrong and they were still in the Delta Quadrant ā but it was all sort of distant knowledge. Like he knew it, but didnāt truly remember it. Whatever reprogramming the Ferengi had done was gone; he was more or less the same version of the program that the real, human Reg Barclay had tried to send in the first place.
Seeing the woman in front of him, he smiled.Ā āBāElanna! What did I miss? Voyager still holding herself together?ā
āIād love to catch up, Reg, but there is no time for that.ā She handed him the Doctorās mobile emitter, something the EMH had complained about, but could do very little about.Ā āYeah, so far, but unless we get things fixed, we might have to use..ā she thought for a moment, trying to remember something Tom had said. ā...duct tape to keep her in one piece.āĀ
Voyager ha been in worse condition before, but with so many sick and injured, the repaired took much longer, which heightened the risk for anything even more serious to happen. At the moment, they couldnāt even travel in warp, it might break the hull.
āWeāve had a bout of unluck.ā At least that was what sheād call it, even if Tuvok didnāt agree with her.

Wait, what?
Bizarre Situations.
4.)Ā Our muses have woken up on the side of a road in a foreign country, with no money, no phones, and no memory of how they got there
It wasnāt the first time BāElanna woke up at a place she didnāt recognize, though usually she had some kind of memory of how she got there, but not this time. After she had made sure she wasnāt injured, she sat up slowly and looked around. Her eyes fell on a man by her side, though judging by the looks of it, he wasnāt the culprit, but perhaps he knew where they were and how they had got here.
āHey, wake up,ā she said and shook him a bit.
