- gon LOVES the beach!

- he asks you if you want to go and when you agree, he’s excited.

- he brings his own snacks and drinks because he doesn’t really like buying from food vendors.

- other than swimming and eating, the both of you build sandcastles

- killua has actually never been to a beach before

- due to this information, you decided you would surprise him.

- killua is very confused on why you had bought him swimwear.

- it all starts to make sense once you take him to a beach nearby.

- killua doesn’t know how to swim but manages to have a good time.

- kurapika had been gone on a mission for a LONG time.

- he wanted to surprise you with a date.

- with his money and power, he managed to reserve a nice beach for you.

- kurapika planned a dinner date for you. he wanted it to be romantic as possible so that you two wouldn’t argue about his absence.

- he calls you on his way home and asks you to pack a bag for your romantic gateway.

- leorio didn’t even tell you anything in advance. it wasn’t a surprise either. he just woke up one day and dragged you to the beach

- you and leorio spend about two hours at the beach and he ends up taking you a restaurant nearby to make up for your unexpected trip.

• KURAPIKA IS CONFLICTED-

• For one, Kurapika doesn’t want a lover. He doesn’t want to put a loved one in danger due to his dangerous work. Someone may come after you for ransom or take revenge out on him. He knows what it feels like, the way to completely break someone is to take away their loved ones.

• But on the second hand. He does want a lover, his job and goals have taken a toll on him. He’ll get colder and colder as the days move on. He doesn’t want that. He never wanted any of this. A lover to help keep him calm and keep that warmth and humanity inside of him is what he wants.

• Not to mention, one of his goals is to repopulate the Kurta clan and he obviously can’t do that alone.

• Kurapika sets up a wall.

• Your will power and love for him must be strong enough to break it down. He’ll push you away, he’ll yell at you, he’ll call you stupid for sticking near him.

• It’s gonna be a tough wall to break down, it’ll take months or maybe even years before it shatters. He does it for his own sake and yours as well. Getting attached isn’t what his brain wants but it’s what his heart wants.

• He doesn’t want to get attached and then lose you one day.

• So when he does get attached he’s VERY Possessive

• “where are you going?” “With who?” “Call me when you get there.” “If you want to come home early call me and I’ll pick you up in an instant.” “If anyone or anything makes you uncomfortable please tell me-“

• You broke down his barrier so suffer the consequences of a clingy, possessive, short tempered boyfriend.

• He opens up to you. He’ll tell you about his clan and the scarlet eyes he has collected. He has gotten as much Information about the owners of the eyes and shares the people of his past with you. He’ll tear up but continue his stories of his clan.

• He would wish to forget and move on, live out the rest of his days with you but he’s come so far. The rage in his heart hasn’t died out.

• luckily there’s a new emotion in his heart as well; Love. And it’s all for you.

• He has no problem spoiling you, money isn’t a problem for this blacklist hunter. Anything you ask for; Anything you desire is yours. He’ll swipe his cards forty times a day for you if you wanted.

• He’ll do anything for you, he keeps you pampered and in Luxury.

• He loves seeing you smile, so in his head for exchange for him spending his money he gets to see that beautiful face filled with happiness.

• If he’s on a body guard job or searching for the eyes. He’ll drop everything and turn on his heels for you.

• Even he surprised himself when he found himself walking away from a deal for a pair of scarlet eyes when you called him crying.

• All in all- one of the best characters in the HxH universe to fall for you. (If you don’t mind the clinginess)
