Lee Minhyuk Appreciation Station

Earlier in the challenge, I mentioned that the first song I heard by BTOB was WOW and that I wasn’t really that into it. Then one day I came across this video of idols singing with microphone sound effects and BTOB were singing I’ll Be Your Man, well at least they were trying to… and I was really impressed by Ilhoon’s rap as he had a normal mic (I couldn’t exactly hear the vocal line properly lol), which is strange for me since I’m way more interested in vocals than rap in kpop. I wanted to know more so I looked up the I’ll Be Your Man MV and was immediately hooked, and the rest is history… Even if you don’t want to get into BTOB, I would definitely recommened listening to this song anyway! It really was ahead of its time. If you were ever thinking about giving a group a second chance, then here’s a sign! You never know what you might find!

I know I could have picked any BTOB moment and it would have been great but this one resonates with me particularly. I realise that it’s not the classiest moment LOL. So back on the day that it was announced that Eunkwang was enlisted, I was fine for about 5 minutes then cried on and off for 3 hours! So that was a fun time! I had to stop checking Twitter and Tumblr that day because every time I logged back on, I would start crying again because everyone was making emotional posts and old pics/videos. If I’m gonna cry over a man, it might as well be Eunkwang. When I finally got the mental strength to go back on Tumblr again, I was scrolling mindlessly and came across this post (a screenshot version of my gifs above), and I actually laughed out loud. It was the first time I smiled that day and I feel really grateful to the person who reblogged it (I know who it was). The hard cut back to Eunkwang still gets me every time. Can this week hurry up? I wany my idiot baby Eunkwang back.
