We had to start over, but our fight to save our children hasn’t stopped. Please help Husam’s family reach safety.
Dear friends and kind hearts,
My name is Husam. I am a university lecturer and software developer from Northern Gaza. For the past three years, my family and I have been living through a nightmare, trapped in this devastating crisis.
A year ago, many of you showed us incredible humanity. Thanks to your kindness, we managed to raise $8,000 to help evacuate my family and get urgent medical care for my injured children. We felt a glimmer of hope.
But tragically, our hope was cut short. GoFundMe locked and closed our previous account, and we lost access to everything we had built together. It was a heartbreaking setback during an already impossible time. Today, my wife Wesal, our three children (Aseel, Sally, and Yaseen), and I are still crowded inside a school shelter, struggling every day just to survive. Two of my children are injured, and one urgently needs complex medical treatment in Europe that is completely unavailable here.
We refuse to give up on our children’s lives. We have just launched a brand new, fully verified GoFundMe campaign with the help of my brother who lives in Europe, who will securely manage the funds to pay Al-Majd Foundation for our official evacuation contract and medical travel.

We are starting from scratch, from $0. We urgently need your help to rebuild the momentum we lost.
How you can help us today:
Donate if you can: Every single dollar brings us closer to securing our evacuation contract and getting my child to a European hospital.
Share this post: Re-blog this, share it on your other social media platforms, and send it to your friends. Because our previous account was closed, we need to reach as many people as possible to rebuild our voices.
Thank you for not forgetting us, for your transparency, and for standing by Aseel, Sally, Yaseen, Wesal, and me. You are our only lifeline.
