seriously, you’re comparing a process that can literally kill a women and is often done with a rusty knife in an african hut with no anesthesia to cutting the tip of a dudes dick. sure it fucking sucks because it has alot of nerve endings, but they’re not even fucking comparable considering what they cause.

My sons were placed on anything like that when they were circumcised. Maybe it depends on the hospital. My husband was in the room for our 3 year old’s circumcision and he didn’t have a reaction at all to the procedure. This is such a controversial topic but what irks me most about it is that people who are anti circumcision always exaggerate the hell out of everything. There’s fake videos online and websites with insane anecdotes that no one can verify. I don’t think any parent makes a decision like this lightly. I know I agonized over it and researched it for months before I told my doctor we would be doing the procedure. I made her explain everything she was going to do and I made sure my husband would be in there with him…anyway…the pic is from one of those crazy sites and it’s meant to scare expecting parents so I’d take it with a big ole grain of salt.

1. Frenar Band, or Ridged Band The frenar band is a group of soft ridges near the junction of the inner and outer foreskin. This region is the primary erogenous zone of the intact male body. The glans ranges from pink to red to dark purple among intact men of Northern European ancestry, and from pinkish to mahagony to dark brown among intact men of Color. If circumcision is performed on an infant or young boy, the connective tissue which protectively fuses the foreskin and glans together is ripped apart. This leaves the glans raw and subject to infection, scarring, pitting, shrinkage, and eventual discoloration. Over a period of years the glans becomes keratinized, adding additional layers of tissue in order to adequately protect itself, which further contributes to discoloration. Many restoring men report dramatic changes in glans color and appearance, and that these changes closely mirror the natural coloration and smooth, glossy appearance of the glans seen in intact men. Length and Circumference Circumcision removes some of the length and girth of the penis - its double-layered wrapping of loose and usually overhanging foreskin is removed.
