while the winchesters are dealing with demons and the apocalypse and the potential end of the world, i imagine jo’s experiences when she’s on her own remain in a sort of american nightmare limbo between the southern gothic feel of the early seasons of spn and the unsettling, inexplicable feeling of n.ight v.ale and alice isn’t d.ead. like it’s predominantly the early spn/true d.etective energy, but also this perpetual unease and existential questioning etc etc. 

update: my semester ends this week, so i’m gonna be sporadic with ims/replies in general until i finish my assignments! next monday i’m leaving for a 10 day trip around the central europe before a second two-week leg at the start of may, before doing ANOTHER 1-2 weeks leading up to june, so i’m gonna be super all over the place until i get back to the states at the start of june. if ya wanna talk/plot/rp, you can find me at the curse of the luigi board#9547 on disc, but otherwise you’re all gonna have to bear with me for the next few weeks!
