Amelia cocked an eyebrow, scoffing lightly. She glanced upward at him, smirking slightly. “Speak for yourself, sir. My sex appeal has went nowhere, but yours, however…” She adjusted the strap on her purse and looked at him again, this time faking an annoyed expression. “You’re a great boyfriend, you know that, right? So incredibly generous and caring..”

“Mine however?” Hunter scoffed in disbelief. “Mine however never left. It’s always been here. It’s like you don’t even have eyes. I don’t need to do anything special, alright, it’s all right here,” he replied, motioning to his face with his free hand. He smiled with pride. “I know I am. Honestly I should win an award for it. I would like to thank the academy...”

Theo glanced over at his friend, an unreadable expression on his face. He was silent for a few moments, and then, with a sigh, he clapped him on the shoulder. “You know if you need a loan then I’ve got your back, right? No interest or pressure or anything. If you need to pay something off, or need any help with the legal stuff – an I.O.U’ll suffice.” With a nod, he turned to the right, heading down the road towards the local pub. “I could do with a pint. Just promise me you won’t make me order some embarrassing girly cocktail. I wanna drink with a mate, not with some pussy princess.”

Hunter glanced at his friend for a brief moment, a bit of a confused expression on his face. Theo’s been a great friend of his for awhile, but they didn’t talk much about emotional, personal things very often although he was definitely glad to have his friend’s support. Finally, he smiled. “Thanks, mate. Really. I appreciate it. I don’t want to be a burden or anything, but I’ll definitely keep that thought in mind. Thank you,” he replied and followed his friend into the bar. “No, no,” he laughed. “None of that. That’s shit my sister and Amelia order. I’m alright with a pint as well.”

Amelia laughed, a small smirk forming on the corners of her lips. “Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Netflix and chill needs two willing parties.” She joked, scuffling the toe of her boot against the ground. “Good, I was getting tired of standing around. It’s starting to get bloody cold.” She reached for his hand, the other moving to zip up her jacket.

Hunter shook his head. “God, we’re so weird... Is this what happens when two people have been dating for too long? They just lose all sex appeal and seduction techniques what-so-ever?” He squeezed her hand and glanced over at her. “Should’ve brought a warmer jacket because there is no way in hell I’m giving you mine...”

Amelia grinned, a light laugh leaving her lips. “Don’t question my chosen method of seduction, just go along with it. ” Still smiling softly, she shook her head slightly and ran her fingers through her blonde locks. “I will live my life, thank you very much, and right now I want to live it with you and a beer or something like that.”

Hunter rolled his eyes, but he still kept his smile. “Alright I’ll go along with it. And not because you told me too, because now I’m curious to see where exactly you’re going to go with this and how far you’ll actually go.” He held out his hand to her. “I’m honored. Now, I have some at my place so c’mon. Let’s go.”

“I’m glad I opened your eyes to the light then. We all did considering it’s in our nature as humans,” Vienna shrugged. “I would agree however I figure us as superheroes would be a hot mess. If anything we’re the villains who can’t do anything right so we’re always caught. That or badass anti-heroes.” Vienna laughed. “Well if you need assistance with anything you know where to find me.”

“Very true.” Hunter laughed at her next remark. “Also true. We’d be really shitty superheroes. Probably also shitty villains as well, but that’s a little better. Though I’m really liking this badass anti-hero thing. It really captures the fact that we don’t really give enough fucks to be either a hero or a villain.” He grinned. “Thanks, V. You’re a cool friend underneath all that tough girl shit.”

“Of course you did and the dragons are flying over our heads to their pens!” She’d say this with a patronizing smile and a wave of her hands. Rolling her eyes she’d then continue her walk bumping her hip against his, and pushing open the door to the small cafe, the smell of freshly ground coffee beans hitting her as she throws her bag onto one of the dark red leather sofas. “What’d you like then? A latte or some cake? I’m doing the cake.”

Hunter looked at her, very seriously. “Do not joke about dragons, Sera, that would be fucking awesome. Also, stop bumping into me. Like, I get you’re tall, but I still got at least five inches on you so don’t mess. I don’t want to have to fight you.” He glanced over the menu. “Nah, I’m not really a cake person... Hmm... I’m gonna have to go with just a plain coffee. Black.”
