Protecting earth in the name of toast with butter

I wanted to give an update after years of more-or-less-lowkey running away and hiding online. I know that a lot of people were ignored during my escape and I wanted to apologise. If I owe you something, please message me.

I can't promise I will always reply to all the messages and I wanted to apologise in advance. Recently I've learned of a few things and was churning through them in my brain for a while. I decided to stop running away even if it means consequences and facing things I was feeling guilty about.

This year I was diagnosed with ADHD which explained a lot of things. Why it's difficult for me to reply to messages sometimes, why I'm so focused on some things that I ignore the rest, why I owe people things from long time ago (and many more, such as why you can't see the floor in my room because of the mess, to the point I should be in a reality show...).

I'm working on improving and the diagnosis helped - since I know what to do and how to deal with my brain. On the other hand I know that I have to accept certain things and live in a way that does'nt cause me suffering just so I appear "normal" and "get myself together".

I became more responsible over the years, which I'm improving even more, though I still wanted to warn that introverted (though loud...) + ADHD brain = huge difficulties with replying to certain messages.

Not replying to messages for a longer period of time and avoiding things and people caused me to feel a lot of guilt, which told me to run away even more. It even got to the point I practically abandoned my nickname and social media.

I want to apologise to everyone, give everyone what I owe to them and return to my nickname. Still, I also accepted that social media will be "I go in, I post something I did in my hyperfixation, I'm going to make something new, see you again".

My first attempt at traditional animation (with digital colours). I used a lightpad when drawing the frames, then I scanned them and put together as a gif using GIMP.
