I have not touched watercolors since 2010 and I am looking to get back into them. I decided to do a warmup painting of my muse, Sorey and Mikleo. I rushed the sketching part because I was impatient and just wanted to get to coloring, so it is not the most inspired pose.

I kinda regret painting the background, so here is a crappy photo of it before I did. Also included is a photo of the painting. I don't know what it is, but the scan has this weird softness I don't like. However, the photo version shows the texture of the paper a bit more than I want. Which do you think looks better?

In the middle of that craze, one of my friends gave me a pair of Sylvanians, which I decided to customize as Sorey and Mikleo (the little one is Phi :D).

I'm not very good at crafts, but I really liked how they turned out—they were among the first pieces of merch I had of them ✨

Of course, I couldn’t pass up the chance to go with two great travel enthusiasts and ruin nerds.

It was really entertaining and fun to learn more about the culture that once inhabited this place.

I hope that before my college break ends, I’ll be able to visit the other three archaeological sites within the city :D

At the official Tales event “Tales of Festival” held the other day, I was able to see Sorey and Mikleo again for the first time in a long while. I never imagined that something so miraculous would happen in 2026. I’m truly delighted and so happy—I still can’t believe it.

I absolutely love seeing Sorey and Mikleo living a laid-back, peaceful life. But lately, I feel like my drawings of them always end up looking the same.It made me lose confidence, so I haven't been able to draw them for a while.
