Guys, remember the play in S4 about Gifted? (the founding of the ADA) What if that's true and Fyodor is like a fallen angel? It goes with his "right hand of God and the demons", and angel themes.

I think it would be funny if the real reason Alastor stays/return is because he's waiting for Lucifer to show him sloppy, but Lucifer completely forgot about it after everything that happened
Let me yap about the mysteries surrounding the fan favorite of Hazbin Hotel, the Radio Demon, Alastor!
Despite being a present and important character since Pilot, revealing his backstory and deal with Rosie in S2, there's still a lot of unknown about Alastor. And to channel a bit of Vox, I'm curious to know how a guy from the 1930βs become the strongest sinner as well.
To make this easy to understand and follow, these are the points I'll talk about:
Why didn't Rosie just fix Alastor's staff?
Alastor's magic and the eyes in Hell
Alastor's voice, soul, and fate
Alastor's connection with the Morningstars
Why is Alastor the strongest sinner and not Lilith?
The Executioner Theory
Why didn't Rosie just fix Alastor's staff?
Well, we all know about his little deal with Rosie that essentially secured his place in the afterlife, but if Rosie β who is still another mystery to us βtruly has the power to grant him power, why didn't she just fixed his staff? If she had, Alastor wouldn't go through with his plan of manipulating half of S2 to break free from her and she might've still have him as a pet. Though, to be fair, he would still find a way to be free since he's been thinking about it after he fought Adam.
My running theory is:
A. Rosie is afraid of him becoming too powerful
B. She wants him to rebel
C. She's not the one who granted him power
D. All of the above
A: Alastor said in the finale of S1 that his deal with Rosie hazbin holding him back β which is odd, because why did Alastor think after losing to Adam that his deal was weakening him when it supposedly made him be the strongest sinner? Sure, he couldn't kill Adam without using angelic weapons and it was foolish and very egotistical of him not to use one, but that's beside the point β and in ep 4 of S2 he said that he contained his rage and disappeared for 7 years on her behalf, which very likely means that she was suppressing him from his full potential. Not fixing his staff (that he use to draw some of his power) is another means of doing just that.
Rosie may have been afraid of her hold over Alastor loosening (since she's low-key very controlling, don't fight me on this, it's heavily implied on her song) and him possibly going ballistic like Vox. So, him breaking free from her leash made him more powerful because the deal is not holding him back and he won against the new strongest sinner (Vox) even though his staff was still broken and he's still injured.
Curious, isn't it? How Vox couldn't win against Alastor when he was still the strongest, but Alastor could win against Vox when Vox was the strongest. The deal with Rosie may not allow Alastor to become more powerful than what she made him and that's why when they met again he demanded more power. Therefore, when the deal was broken, Alastor got the power he earned in Hell as one of its overlord.
Or Alastor could be half-demon (parallel to Charlie as half-angel) or something like Jesus (human but child of something divine, in Alastor's case, demonic like Satan or Roo) and his deal with Rosie was holding him back because he's just the strongest βsinnerβ. I'll get back to that later.
B: I think theory A is more plausible than this, but it's not impossible. Rosie is aware that Al is stubborn and wants power, and although she said she will fix his staff in due time whenever that may be, she let him deal with it on his own. She might not be expecting for him to successfully break the deal or she might've and he's still dancing on her strings unknowingly. Either way, her smile seems ominous to me and gives me the impression that she's still not done with whatever she wants from him.
C: There's theories that Rosie may be Lilith/Eve/fallen angel or that she's working for Lilith or Roo. I'll go over the latter. If Rosie is working for someone else β Lilith/Roo β it is possible that the power she gave Alastor is from that someone powerful that can make him the strongest sinner. So when Alastor suddenly showed up, she couldn't fix his staff and told him to wait, because she needed to contact that someone to give her the means to do so without Alastor knowing and that's why she could in the finale. However, the deal was broken before she could fix it and Al reaped all the benefits.
D: This last theory is a bit of a stretch, but is it? Let's say that Rosie is Eve and she was working with Lilith. She have a power to connect to Earth and Lilith can empower Sinners literally. Then when Alastor called upon the afterlife, they took their chance, with Eve contracting him to do something for her and Lilith empowering him to be the strongest sinner.
And so, with Alastor's control of radio wave and Lilithβs voice, the uprising started. But 8 years ago, Lilith made a deal with Adam that allowed her to stay in Heaven and Eve wanted to dethrone her to be the Queen of Hell (the something Al will help do for her) so she ordered Alastor to went off the air to lay low, hence their disappearance since the start of extermination (that Lucifer allowed) that made the others wonder if Alastor died (as said by Zestial).
And then Eve used Alastor to get close to Charlie. So why didn't she fixed his staff right away? The same reason as theory A. And she'll supposedly fix it in due time and use Alastor to rebel against Lilith.
Alastor's magic and the eyes in Hell
Moving on from the staff thing, I don't know if it's common knowledge in the fandom and I'm just stating the obvious, but I noticed the eyes in Alastor's shield during ep 8 of S1 to be moving! Like how the eyes (that's speculated to be connected to Roo) in the room with Angel in ep 6 of S2 is moving and not just a design. Alastor's tentacle shield didn't just attack whoever exorcist was near, it could also see the target.
This may be a coincidence because there's really a lot of eyes design in hellaverse or it could be:
A. Alastor is Rooβs child like what I stated in the earlier theory A
B. Like in the theory C above, there was someone powerful behind Rosie that gave him power and it's connected to the eyes (Roo)
C. Alastor's reach across the Pentagram isn't limited to radio waves and he have eyes everywhere (literally) except maybe Lucifer's palace. I found no eyes there other than the one in the chair that didn't seem to be alive.
Those eyes in the wall only got a close up during the Angel scene, foreboding and teasing. Alastor knows Voxβs hypnotizing ability and Vox was borrowing Angel who was a resident of the hotel so he put the 2+2 together and concluded that he was being used as a spy. But! Vox borrowed Angel after the Lucifer vs Vox to use him for the propaganda. If theory C is correct, it could be that Alastor also found out Angel was a spy because of the eyes in the room.
Do those eyes have anything to do with radio, deer, and being a cannibal serial killer? No. But Alastor seems to have a lot of strange powers, unlike the others whose powers were related to what they did in their life or demonic form. Because of voodoo perhaps?
Alastor's voice, soul, and fate
And then there is his voice and unique soul. Was Rosie just sweet talking him and it's nothing too grand or there's really something more about him that we don't know yet?
Is his soul unique because of his moral compass? I personally don't see that as such a big deal. He's human, he have a heart, and he can have favorites and hates. Take Jack the Ripper or Rodya from Crime and Punishment for example β One kills only women and the other who he thought deserved it. But that's just my take on it and I would be fine if that's the case.
As for his voice, Rosie said she knew he was the one when she heard his voice. That can be metaphorical (when she heard him calling) or literal (his voice is powerful). If Rosie is really planning to dethrone Lilith or something, maybe she wants to use his voice against her. If not, then perhaps she knew that he's related to radio and wants to use it to amplify Lilithβs voice for the uprising and that's why singing particularly works in cannibal town. The same way that Alastor maybe amplify Charlie's voice in βReady for thisβ when he lent her his cane. Before that, when Charlie sang, they didn't really listen to her. Of course that can be because Susan was interrupting her, however, it's worth noting that that was the first time Charlie's singing works to move the sinners.
Here's the thing about that: Alastor and Rosie were glad that Charlie has the power to move the people as the princess of hell and they linked that to Lucifer as opposed to Lilith when they said βlike her daddy she is madly power-fellβ. (I'll get back to that later) But was it really her that moved them? They only started singing and dancing along when Alastor cut in to Charlie's song and that's because he knew what to say (βand feast on all the angels you can eatβ) to get to the cannibals. It makes me wonder if he never said anything and just let Charlie sing on her own if she can still get the cannibals on board.
Now, onto his fate. It seemed pretty pre-determined the moment he made a deal with Rosie and his demon form showed behind him and he was killed by accident soon after. Whether it was determined because of him making the deal in the first place or not is the question. Though, Alastor seemed to think he was the one in control or at least he wants to be, because he said to Adam βYou should know better than anyone what a soul can accomplish when they take charge of their own fate.β when Adam mocked him for thinking he could win and then it cut to his shadow, the shadow that was shown when Rosie said she'll take his soul.
And what happened next? He lost.
Alastor might've thought he was in charge of his fate when he lent his soul in exchange for power, but when he was already powerful and her end of the deal that lasted for decades became a hindrance, he wanted freedom. Because as she said, βThe moves you make are mine and mine aloneβ, and it showed that he's not really in charge as long as he's on her leash. Once he's free, Alastor proved what he said to Adam by defeating the strongest Vox one on one.
Alastor's connection with the Morningstars
He showed a hint of interest in the Morningstars ever since the Pilot when he was staring at the family portrait.
At first, it was Charlie, and we can safely assume that whatever he and Rosie were working on involves her. They both seemed to want to harness the power Charlie inherited from Lucifer, and while Rosie's goal remains unknown to us as of the moment, Alastor is pretty straightforward that he wants to guide her because of her potential as he said in βReady for thisβ. As soon as he said that though, Rosie tugged him towards her as if holding him back, and his facial expression eased to match herβs. So, while it was because of Rosie that he went to the hotel, he seemed to also have his own agenda.
That was why he was acting like a parental figure, loyal confidant, and friend to Charlie. And yes, it was not just during that time that Lucifer showed up, because she really was comfortable with him and what he was saying throughout the song. If it came out of nowhere after 5 months of living together, her reaction would be at least forced or a βhuh?β. She could be naive, but it's not like she's completely oblivious towards Alastor as shown in later episode when they talked in her room. Hell, in ep1 of S2 we see Charlie smiling towards Vaggi and the others even when she was still grieving and her mind was in shambles, and she got that from Alastor not Lucifer!
Will he become attached to her? Perhaps. Does that mean he won't betray her? No. Will he prioritize other important things over her? Most definitely. I'd even say Alastor already got attached before the battle with the exorcists and he became cold towards her after that because of his own issues. And then he left just like her mom to deal with it. And also because of something that involves Rosie.
βWe really aren't getting any closer toββ was what he said to Rosie before she cut him off. It could be something else that requires him to stay close with Charlie or it could be that they want her to draw out her potential power and it wasn't very successful, because even though she fought against Adam, it was Lucifer who saved her and defeated him.
And in ep 1 of S2, we saw him taking more interest towards Lucifer, albeit subtly. It actually started since Lucifer's first appearance at the hotel. When he was hugging Charlie, the camera moved up from them to show Alastor's reaction, and then they started to antagonize each other. During that time, Alastor might've seen Lucifer as a hindrance to his plan for Charlie, but that changed at the end of S2 when he still stayed at the hotel and was more invested in Lucifer.
Perhaps he set aside his plan of guiding Charlie's potential to instead get to the source of pure angelic power, aka Lucifer, once he found an opening that was shown by Vox. Or it could just be that he wants Lucifer to heal him. This could lead to him possibly fighting against Rosie in the future if she ever gets in the way.
Alastor returning to the hotel on his own because he's invested in Lucifer and Lilith calling Charlie after 8 years of nothing when she heard that. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don't think so. She could have called her during the one month from Adam's death to Sir Pentiousβ trial when Lute told her to stop Charlie so she can stay in heaven. She could have also called when Vox was starting another uprising against Heaven. Both of those are important times when she could've called and yet, she didn't.
So, why do I think that Alastor's and Lilithβs return are not coincidental? Because I don't think them disappearing 8 years ago is a coincidence either. And Lilith returning and meeting with Alastor will either be them as:
Allies β if he might've worked and will still work together with Lilith if they shared a common goal. Knowing what happened with Vincent, not likely to happen unless if it's thru a deal, and even then Alastor might try to overpower her. Except maybe if he's somehow reverent towards her.
Enemies β since now that Alastor's free (and she might've known that if she's working with Rosie) Lilith might've felt threatened. Even if she didn't know about Alastor's deal, she may still feel threatened after the whole Lucifer vs Vox vs Alastor fiasco that Lu and Al will strike a deal. Likewise, he may also feel the same, and maybe they'll have their version of βHell's greatest dadβ fighting over Lucifer that will lead to Alastor being a temporary villain. Oh, the drama! Just right after Alastor and Lucifer shared a life and death experience they could bond over too and Lucifer soon reuniting with his wife. Maybe Lilith still cares about Lucifer and wants to stop Alastor from taking advantage of the situation or she fears losing her position or both.
Why is Alastor the strongest sinner and not Lilith?
She's the first woman and sinner who can empower sinners with her voice. Is it because she became like Adam? Instead of being only a winner, Adam became an archangel, so perhaps instead of being just a sinner, Lilith became a demoness. (as in literal demon like Hellborns unlike other humans who got demonic features and powers because they're condemned in hell) Or is it because of her status as the queen that she didn't count as a sinner anymore and her strength relied on that? If so, she will be fucked if she divorced Lucifer. (Maaaybe the reason why they're not properly divorced even though they split up long ago.)
Whatever it is, it seems more likely to me that they're setting the two of them up as opposed to each other, whoever the antagonist may be. The First Sinner vs The Strongest Sinner type of thing. Yk, kinda like Gojo vs Sukuna and Lucifer vs Adam.
The Executioner Theory
Here comes the popular theory of Alastor becoming an executioner. I think it can go two ways. Either he was Lilithβs executioner or he will be Lucifer's. The two can also be both true.
With Lilith, if she's involved with Rosie, then maybe she used Alastor not only for the radio, but also to execute overlords who were against her without her name getting dirty in front of the Sinners who loved her, thus the start of Alastor getting known as the radio demon. Because if she's to do the killing herself then she have a risk of a sinner like Vox claiming her to be a dictator and turning her people against her. Whether Alastor knows that or was just following Rosie's order is up in the air, but he at least had fun.
With Lucifer, to execute Sinners he wants to smite, but couldn't do himself, and so he can still instill fear and keep the monarchy stable. After the reveal that Lucifer couldn't harm Sinners and his power getting used by Vox, Alastor may want to 'guide' that power for his benefit instead of Charlie's so he'll make a deal with Lucifer.

Does the "No Alastors Allowed'' implied that Alastor and his shadow went to Lucifer's room before? I can only imagine that as him pulling an Edward Cullen, watching Lucifer sleep with bright thirsty/hungry red eyes lol
