Hi there! My name is Hugs, welcome to my little corner of Tumblr! I am 16, and go by he/him.
I'm an artist, writer, character designer and so much more. Some of my favorite things to do are draw, write, bake, and hang out and play games with my wonderful boyfriend @cubenbeats and my amazing friends!
I'm also the creator of the (currently unreleased) animated series, The Studio Show! I love my series and the characters I made for it :]. I'm also the writer behind the Regretevator fanfiction, Picking Up The Shattered Remains.
Aside from my projects, I have plenty of other interests! Some of my interests are Dandy's World, Dungeons and Dragons, Project Hail Mary, Fisch, Regretevator, South Park, BFDI, Item Asylum, SpongeBob, Deltarune, Poppy Playtime and Pokemon!
I currently post on Tumblr (for my art), AO3 (for my stories), CharacterHub (for OC related content), Pinterest (misc.), and use Discord for talking with my friends! I do have other currently inactive socials though.

Same name as me, my persona's name is Hugs! I also draw him a lot, he's a comfort character of mine. He's also the main character in The Studio Show! He's currently set as my pfp (drawing by thavincenator, one of my best friends)!
I already mentioned my love for drawing and writing, but some other artist things I like to make are perler/pixel art, ceramic figures, kandi, miscellaneous DIY stuff and cosplay accessories :], which brings me into the point where I love to cosplay as well!
I'm also a Minnesotan!
I have many favorites who I love to draw more often than others, those favorites are Hugs and Tr3aturslf (my OCs), Folly/Dreamer (Regretevator), Goob, Gourdy and Cosmo (Dandy's World), Kyle, Tweek and Pip (South Park), and Tenna (Deltarune)!
My posts may be inconsistent from time to time. Unfortunately I do deal with issues involving both my physical and mental health: I have issues with my tummy that affect me from time to time, and sometimes I'll take breaks for mental health.

I have something to ask Tumblr. Has anyone else had just downright awful experiences with crisis helplines?
TW for some heavy mental health discussion below the cut.
The past month or so I've been struggling a lot. Every couple months or so, I usually go into a low state for my depression. I have nearly tried every hotline that my area has to offer. And let me tell you how I have been treated by these people.
As a 16 year old trans guy who faces a lot of gender dysphoria, I called the Trevor Project hotline the other day and was incredibly dissapointed with how I was treated. After being put on hold for 45 minutes, I was asked a ton of inappropriate questions completely unrelated to what I needed help with, then hung up on. I received no help. I also had bad experiences with this hotline in the past telling me to talk with my abusive parents!
While I have had better experiences with 988, I have had my fair share of being cut off, hung up on, asked completely unrelated things. It really makes me sad that people like me that are constantly being told to call these hotlines because they can "actually help you" are treating people like this. Not to say I haven't had good experiences with 988, I have. But still.
Does anyone have any advice? Maybe someone who knows more than me? Feel free to share your own experiences in the comments or reposts.

Theres been lots of reasons for my absence but I thought I'd explain some so that I can clear things up a bit.
This ones gonna be a long one.
One of which, school's been absolutely killing me. After school, which basically burns my braincells to a crisp, I do not have the energy to do basically anything. Especially considering I'm quite dissapointed with the way my grades fell, I have simply not had the energy to draw things anymore.
Which brings up the point that even if I did have the time, art block and writing block has been chewing me up. I haven't even been able to work on personal projects of mine like The Studio Show, From My Heart to You, or Picking Up The Shattered Remains.
Though in possibly better news I've been getting back into South Park and may start drawing more South Park art for everyone, of course, once school's over.
For a general life update outside of school, I may also need more time off so I can clean. I struggle with cleaning but I do have to clean my room up. It takes me longer than I'd like to admit.
But in good news, I applied for some jobs so I could get one for the summer and did end up getting asked in for an interview!
This summer I hope I can turn things around. I will be updating everyone soon, and again, thank you for standing by while I try and push through my stressful life. I really do appreciate it.

I first stopped for lunch at the Agave Kitchen restaurant, then wandered around Abigail Page Antiques. After the antique store, I went to go get ice cream at Knoke's, and then went to wander around in Drops of Wellness and Chapter2Books.
