sickness and health
hrjiyeonâ:
Jiyeon was glad she seemed to accept her words and could understand where she was coming from. âSee? So, there you go,â she smiled. There were also cases, like her own, where no one would remember who she was, but she was simply happy to gave gotten where she did. It was her personal goal, her own personal legend of sorts, and if no one ever looked at it or learned about it, that was okay with Jiyeon.
At the comment, Jiyeon couldnât help but laugh. âItâs true,â she said petting the young girlâs head. âBut you know what? Talking to you has made me start to feel a lot better too. So youâve helped me out a lot more than you know.âÂ
âExactly,â Jiyeon nodded. âThe paths we all take may be different but the road we end up on is the same.â The beginning and end point were the same for every living being on earth, and each and every single being had their own paths. It crossed others, but never duplicated them. This was something that Jiyeon always believed.
âHonestly, I donât even know. Bad, because health wise, weâre done for,â she shrugged. âBut also in a way, good, because no one can judge you for your appearance anymore, right? But I donât know, and Iâm not sure I want to see it happen either.â Jiyeon imagined the scenario that Karin was painting for her. âIt sounds likeâŚan entertaining movie, but also, a little bit terrifying when you think about the fact youâve eaten those same vegetables youâre fighting now.â
â did i now? did i really? well thatâs good. i mean i came here to make sure you werenât dying from your sickness but thatâs a good plus right? â thereâs a certain hope to her tone that is left muted yet still wrapped between her words and small laughter. itâs an odd feeling to be told, even if was something obvious. spending far too long with her parents, the confusion still remains even now when karin is told she can be good.
â you knowâŚi know youâre a dietician and all but you sound like those philosophy majors i see around campus and in my electives. before you know it weâll be talking about the real meaning of life, â itâs banter with no intention to evolve into an actual conversation. not now at least, she has to be in a specific mood for it.
â it could be aâŚan action movie. or a sci-fi horror movie that fools everyone since they always have the scariest titles like insidious or conjuring or something. but now we just have something that sounds like attack of the vegetables or planet of the carnivorous vegetables and everyone will be like what? â a giggle escapes. â you can probably guess iâm terrible at naming things. â
