will we remember tomorrow?
The bass thrummed through Seungmin’s body and the liquor was flowing freely amongst the patrons in a tiny club that was situated near his apartment in Hwaryung. Seungmin was new to the city and barely had any friends. It was awkward moving to a brand new city by yourself and when you are an adult, it’s not as easy to just randomly make friends with strangers.
And so Seungmin was coping the only way he knew how, alcohol.
He had easily lost count of how many drinks he had taken, but he was drunk enough that he was toeing a very dangerous line where he was going to either vomit all over himself and cry or do questionable things with a stranger. Seungmin was still aware enough to know that he was in a public space, so he probably definitely should avoid the former. Thus, he began scanning the crowd of people on the dance floor, looking for somebody to approach.
Standing towards the edge was a beautiful woman that he didn’t think he had ever seen before. Emboldened by the alcohol, he approached her and noticed that she seemed to be alone at the moment. His cheeks flushed from the alcohol and the heat of the club, he tapped her on the shoulder and whispered in her ear, “Hey... are you alone? Do you want to have some fun with me?” He backed off slightly so that she could get a good look at him, his black skinny jeans clinging to his impossibly long legs and his bright pink dress shirt clinging to the sweat on his upper torso that he had been working hard on, shoulders clearly defined under the thinly hanging fabric.
