We know that not every age gap aficionado is a creator and because we believe that all these amazing words deserve to be read we have decided to host a little reading event!
Everyone that reads/views (in the case of the art piece) and kudos and comments on the works in our collection before August 8th will be awarded with an exclusive badge to commemorate their devotion to keeping fandom alive and thriving.
There are five tiers that can be achieved: 1 - 9 / AGEGAP Fan 10 - 19 / AGEGAP Lover 20 - 29 / AGEGAP Connoisseur 30 - 39 / AGEGAP Enthusiast 40 - 45 / AGEGAP Devotee
And for the people who went the extra mile and read and engaged with everything we will give a chance to get one of 5 custom line arts by our mod @eastwindmlk.
How to Participate
Form submission period: 6 July – 8 August 2026
To enter the competition, you must complete all three of the following for each work you choose from the HP AGEGAP Fest Collection: 1) Read the work. 2) Leave a kudos. 3) Write a meaningful comment (more than a few words, showing your thoughts or reaction to the work - please use our comment idea card when leaving a comment).
Mood - a comment which includes something about the mood/vibes/emotional tone of the work Imagery - a comment about the imagery/descriptive language used in the work Quoting three favorite lines - self explanatory Description - a comment about how characters/settings/other things are described Characterization - a comment about how the author portrays a specific character Sharing something about yourself/your reading experience - For example, “I read this on the train to work and blushed so much the whole time.” Or could be something more personal like how much you relate to a particular character. Atmosphere - a comment about how the places and settings evoke emotions Multi-paragraph - a comment that consists of multiple paragraphs Emojis - a comment which includes emojis (or is entirely emojis if you think you can do that in a meaningful way!) Dialogue - a comment about the dialogue in a fic New headcanon - Seeing something in a work which makes you want to consider it a new headcanon for yourself. (Eg “oh for here on out I will absolutely headcanon that X character has Y kink.”) Side character - a comment which includes something about a side character in a work A question for the author/artist - a comment which includes (without pressure obviously) a question for the author/artist (eg “How did you come up with X?” “What happens next for the characters?”) Opening - a comment about how a fic opens/the first few lines Ending - a comment about how the fic closes
You may read as many works from the collection as you like. Each work you complete by reading, leaving kudos, and commenting counts toward your participation.
Participants will receive badges based on the final number of works they read/view, leave kudos and comment on. Those who complete every work in the collection will be eligible for one of five custom line arts, which will be awarded on a first come, first served basis to eligible finishers.
In order to participate, please fill in this form before August 8th once you are done completing the works you have chosen.
