Chloe, I found your photography about a year and a bit ago. I wanted to say thank you for creating this tumblr, because most photographers aren't willing to share the information that you do with us. My question is: How do you make your photos look so soft? They've got such a dreamy touch to them. Its something I aim to do, but can never achieve.

❤️! I think it’s mostly through lighting and just using film, I don’t use any special filters or even really set out to make them soft like that, it’s just the film grain and nice even lighting I think that helps

hey! I wanted to buy a rolleiflex camera but im not sure if you can shoot automatic with it or only manual? I wanted to ask u if you know which one is better: rolleiflex 3.5 or 2.8. also, would I always have to use a light meter with this camera?

Pretty sure it’s only manual, yeh you have to use a light meter with it. I don’t know which one is better, I think the one I use is a 3.5. Def worth getting though, and I just use a light meter app on my phone for it so nothing fancy
