meanwhile I was a bit worried about losing that automatic-female-friendliness from transitioning but discovered the stronger automatic friendliness between long haired men and generally androgynous people. But I need to be FRIENDS with these androgynous people. there are so many stunningly beautiful androgynous people I see in passing but only random old people want to stop and talk for an hour.. granted this includes very masculine short old women and they are maybe the best thing in the world

I literally had a cute costo worker who also had long hair compliment mine and ask me how long id been growing it out, almost like how car guys talk about car or something, its truly magical what having long hair can do. But only when its more noteworthy like if a girl has very very long hair or if a guy or someone more androgynous has it. It becomes very novel and is often seen as a noble pursuit due to its upkeep theres an implied amount of discipline and care thats communicated through hair length.
