"No im not." He stretched as he backed up a bit "Im actually a assistant of someone who may sound familiar." He shows the collar on his neck, the platinum chip hung off of it. "Does this ring a bell as a hint?"
“Oh! Well ain’t that a kick in the head? You know Mr. House? You’re his assistant? Must get paid a hellva lot more than what I was to even get that thing into his hands!”
They seem to relax slightly now knowing he’s associated with House. That’s a good sign that he wouldn’t try anything against them, they were an asset to House after all.
"There you go!" He adjusted his collar again to hide it from view "I am houses assistant yes, I've gotten to know him very well." He puts his hands in his pockets.
"I do get paid a lot but the payment isnt what im focused on." He watched them relax knowing they were an asset to house.
“Ah, long stories, I have far too many of those myself. Well, I guess if ya ever need a hand you can always ask me. I’d like to get some more goody points with the big man himself.”
The courier nods, offering the man a little salute in respect.
"Hahaha yeah." He rubbed his arm, "I'll make sure to keep note of that, getting goody points from the big man is very hard." He salutes the man back before walking away.

So, my character ethan Hes a bear, hes very hairy, sorta chubby. Why? Idk but he sorta looks like that one guy from KMFDM.
So now that we are over with the appearance, Ethan lived in vault 21. He also didnt live with someone else in the vaults, he had a small room which only fit a single bed, TV, living room, small bathroom (he had to travel the whole way to the laundry room since there was no washer or dryer), and a small kitchen.
But otherwise, ethan mostly just took care of the meteorology center in the vault, which was checking on the weather on the surface which wasnt great. But eventually, vault tech did override that tech to make it all happy fun lalal!! Nobody will live going on the surface! Which ethan had a feeling that wasnt right but couldn't deny the vault tech overseers. He knew he would have to keep doing his job and he hated it. He hated all the propaganda being shoved down everyone's throats that the surface is dangerous and you should stay in the vaults. That was before the house took full control of 21, Which it would follow exact canon of 21 after house takes control of it.
Id imagine in the middle of all the chaos, ethan left the vault tired of it all, He needed something new.
One major project that ethan took with him, which he torn out of the base was gonna be a tornado probe. He took all the wires and everything that makes it run but now he just needs a new base.
This was what ethan was working on.
He took all the cables out of it so nobody could use it fully, because this thing at least in the fictional world, would bring back a lot of clouds that gave fresh rain that wasnt radioactive, but it was also used in tornado data collection. Which means its a huge data center of information before everything hit the fan and after. But just know, ethan is keeping that massive project away from people not even just house (but of course, house knows everything), he took it with him just so he could hide it from everyone.
But he can't really do much with wires that don't have a base, the moment you plug that into like a computer or anything that can take it, its pretty much just ooo data. Which any of those can be executed (which a little beam would've been shot into the air from that machine) into a cloud which would form a storm system from the past. For example, need rain? Don't want it being acid rain? Choose one from the past.
And of course he keeps those wires going and collecting since its in his pocket, connected to a motor board that always pings a storm. It automatically organizes by date. But ethan can't see that info until he plugs it in. So he just takes it with him so it would ping any storm thats nearby.
Of course that pings like a small chirp. Like a bird. So he could easily just tell someone that the chirping is coming from a bird far away. And not the mother board beeping because it sensed and now its collecting. But I dont think thats gonna work for very long when ur in the middle of no where.

I forgot to mention that ethan has freckles but they are faded, they only show in the sun. Its based off my own freckles because they are sorta seeable but I barely go out in the sun. I might add that small thing where ethan does have mosquito bites permanently scared onto both legs but they faded so you would have to look close to see them.
But otherwise, Ethan wants to fuck Mr. House so bad it makes him look stupid.
I feel like the vault suits should be different depending on like the vault.
21 would be white to symbolize the science part and the fact of what they are doing down there is gonna bring new beginnings. The rest of the vaults got that boring blue expect for 21 which makes tons of sense when 21 was used for experiments. Ethan of course didn't like these suits so once he was on the surface, he started dressing like a raider guard.

and yes, of course he wanted to be a guitarist and a stoner since he does have a stoner tattoo. He wasnt able to be those things due to the vault needing him.
This makes it really funny because ethan and mr house dress so differently but ethan at least is useful to mr house for being smart and quick. Ethan adapted to the surface faster then anyone else and tried to become what he wanted to be but unfortunately fell down the mr house work hole.
So like take the most basic of things from a few different pre-existing Vaults. Cryo, FEV, Survivability (plant and water testing & preservation), Weather Control - Vault 21 is what it is: An Experiments Vault. Full of very smart minds. It works like a modern day situation: You work, come home and do your thing. Only for Vegas to be fucking colonized by the time they're up and kicking. And even then, Vault 21 doesn't get release until Mr. House infiltrates them. All of it is stripped of its machinery. Overseers are gone. Vault 21 becomes a fucking hotel and either before or after that, Ethan just says "Fuck this shit."

And only when things on the surface begin to cool off with readings and things, do they thaw out those in Cryo stasis. Vault 21's personal reclamation day is releasing the pre-war eggheads. (So yes, ethan was in a cryo pod.)
ethan was smart enough not to get into crime or gamble. I do feel like ethan does have some basic ties inside Vegas due to trading and selling and all that. he basically wanted that trust from bottom up.
I feel like ethan (my character thats shipped with mr house) would wear a collar with a fake platinum chip hanging off of it like a bell or something thats lucky 38 or gamble related off of the collar.
I feel like ethan wears different charms (approved ones ofc but its mostly a fake/decoy platinum chip) on his collar that hangs off but theres a small detail to it as well. Theres a small engrave of '38' in green on the right side. On the left is a green heart.
The different charms:

Switch-out charm (can be a charm that house chooses)
I feel like the fake/decoy platinum chip when attempted to be pulled off beeps before sending a electrical shock through whoever touches it, which that shock is enough to explode a person. YET, I feel like it has touch sensors so you can turn it off because the beep is just a warning before it sets off.

But, House retains full control of the functionality of Ethan's fake Platinum Chip, unless it is tampered with by someone that isn't him. So the only way to properly get it off without killing someone else or Ethan is with House's biometric scan. Ethan can quite literally shock himself.
He still barely knows what Mr. House is capable of.

Hes killed one person whos had eyes for house and that person wasnt going to do anything good anyway. He killed one because legion spy bullshit.

Ethan's taking care of things behind the scenes that Mr. House doesn't know about which is sorta like the above. Its based off bonnie from the movie where he waited before killing that one guy. BECAUSE ETHAN IS A SILENT KILLER LMAOO And he cleans himself up after.
Well he knows Ethan has an arsenal thaanks to their previous trip in getting the Chip, but like he doesnt know about most things.
"No issue whatsoever" = everyone in that room was killed with mustard gas because I found chemicals.
thats what i sorta meant by silent killer.
Ethan will use things to kill people in the most silent or non silent ways (gun).

Ethan dresses more like old money to fit into Vegas, he droos his punk look (will expand on that soon). He spends every cap for a wonderful time and hes trying hard to look like house to fit in. Which is why the song above fits him so well.
Ethan used to have a fluffy-like mohawk with just very short hair on the sides.
Ethans raider guard outfit has pins on it that he made himself which makes the whole punk thing tie together.
I also find it funny ethan listens to songs about ripping the system down but turns around and dates house. He's contradictive as fuck.
But yeah, ethan does try to fight for his independence from house for a short while, he builds his own weather station at a satellite station. This doesn't last very long as its own thing due to it being an independent faction not tied to Vegas money nor house.
But, ethan helped house by making this satellite station aid a oasis directly. Finally, nature and weather in vegas.
Ethan did eventually return to house, not on his own will. But by the time ethan returns hes more confident and eventually drops the punk attire and dresses more old money (as explained in the other blog.)
This makes it really ironic because ethan does miss his punk life but he loves house more. He eventually does drop missing his punk life and becomes more acceptable to his old money Vegas life.
