I'm a hybrid traditional and digital artist, who has tried almost every art supply there is to sample -- though I've a fondness for alcohol markers when working in a physical medium.

Calyx's new outfit, but with his real skin and hair colours.
I don't think the glamours his patron gave them can hide the fact that he walks around like he owns the earth they tread upon -- he only shows humility/manners in front of Queen Titania because he's scared of her.

also they're my favourite colour palette so how could I NOT? I LOVE a good green and purple, expecially this muted mint green and lavender. It just soothes the soul, yanno?
Two weeks in the Faewilds ended up being 1,278 years in the Material Plane.
Unbeknownst to the party, who were unconscious for this escapade, Calyx surrendered to a foe that was ravaging the Spring Court... Thinking it would save the Faewilds to take the deal.
Instead it got him a concussion.
And now the entire group is WANTED by the direct report to the fascist/dictator Emperor Dude... So what's the best idea Calyx could come up with?
The same idea he had before he goaded his friend into the Faewilds portal, starting all of this mess: dye his hair (and skin) and hope that works.
even if he thinks he's probably committed treason to the Faewilds, he CANNOT bring himself to shirk his symbolism in the form of the poppy flowers.

i had this concept for Briar's coat since the moment they told me about them for a one shot I ran. Obviously art fight was the best place to bring this vision to fruition.

let me know who you are so i can go say nice things on your art! that's part of my fun this year-- commenting on attacks that aren't for me, merely because i liked your art and wanted to let you know!
Calyx tried to alter his deal with his patron, though I suppose it's more of a renewal of vows. No biggie.
Beneath the cut is what was written two months before it was able to be said, due to scheduling issues-- it is NOT what was said in the campaign (it was altered and not all of it made it out), but honestly I feel like it needs its place to exist.
[please note it was written with cues for me to read during-game to give time to respond and I'm leaving those in, and it was written before certain in-game clarifications had been made. that is to say this conversation beneath the cut is not canon but the ambitions are. ]

I simply wanted to draw some old characters. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to unthread them from their original stories and into something new and original.
but they wouldn't have had to suffer this knowledge if one of their members didn't essentially bring home the vampire cops to their (temporary) haven like he was a stray puppy they should be excited to have with them.
(we're totally ignoring the fact that if Tiziano hadn't changed River's phone UI to Italian to force her to be immersed in a language, she wouldn't have been messing with it in sight of this deplorable man. )
Kairos' cat, Applesauce, is a being of pure evil -- however only one person in the party knows this, and they're being kind enough not to separate a boy and his cat.
...not that Kairos would believe them. He's the first to say that folks are being unreasonable calling black cats bad luck.
