Well she was almost done stuffing him and then I noticed that you can put scents in your bear and fucking love cotton candy and the girl basically car salesmen style sold me on the scent pad and asked where I wanted the scent to go

And I didn’t know where it should go but she herself being quite the plushie enthusiast was like “you’re gonna hug him a lot right? may I reccomend right here” and pointed to his forehead

So I was like “awe cute yeah that sounds good” (my bulbasaur is totally stuffed mind you and I even had her make him extra firm )

and then the girl rolls up her sleeves and was like “alright bulbasaur! Here we go! I apologize in advance but this is gonna look very inappropriate!”

And she fisted my super full bulbasaur all the way to her elbow saying sorry to him and to me over and over again. It took her several tries to get the scent pad in place since my bulbasaur was so stuffed and she looked like she was straining and saying “I don’t know why they didn’t think about this design more, so many parents are gonna complain about this one day, I know it”

Please be kind to your ticket/gate agents and anyone in the airline industry AND any general customer service employee.

In regards to airline/airport employees...YES we know you need to make the flight for whatever reason. HOWEVER. WE must follow policies. Even if you’re just a minute late? Yes it still makes the difference on if you make the gate or your bag makes that flight. Especially if it’s a busy day all around or..who knows? Tsa can be having system issues while you’re there. I’ve seen it happen and I’ve seen it hold people up.

YES that airline make have x y z for policies that another airline doesn’t. Or maybe they don’t offer a b c for luxuries as tickets are cheaper than another airline.

YES it IS possible the last time you flew the same airline the last employee from another station didn’t do 1 2 or 3 from a situation last time that someone is doing. That just means they were kind enough to break policy to help you out a little bit.

YES overweight bag fees are SEPARATE FROM THE COST OF BAG MAKING YOU SPEND MORE MONEY. Every airline varies on cost.

Yes sometimes you pay for a carry on bag depending the airline. Cool you didn’t pay for a carryon with American when you flew with them and now you’re flying Frontier or somewhere else that’s low cost? That’s because you probably paid $600 with American just for one way.

At a STORE and unhappy that they don’t have something you need or don’t like a policy? That’s out of their control. Somewhere involving food and upset they had to offer a replacement or it was a bit longer of a wait? Sorry for the inconvenience.

They got an order messed up? Their bad. They’ll get it fixed for you as soon as they can.

Look. Everyone in customer service is human. Yes sometimes we can come off without empathy but that’s because for some of us? We’re taking the brunt of other people’s anger for no reason other than they didn’t want to hear something. Please always remember to be kind.

And for the holiday season? A lot of us are going into blackout periods and can’t request time off even unpaid. Especially if understaffed. So please if we look a little extra tired/drained? It’s because we are.
