PLEASE NOTE - that while this is a magical, slice of life, highschool themed story, there will be darker themes such as parental abuse, bullying, thoughts of suicide and so much more. this story was written to show how teachers and adults can impact the daily lives of those around them; and about the impressionable minds of the younger generation; even if they claim to not care.

if mc is female or fem presenting nonb. mr. nishimura will show interest. if mc is male or male presenting nonb. ms. harada will show interest.

no, they are not locked. flirting or even romantically aligning yourself with mr nishimura or ms harada ( as the same sex or gender identity ) will be looked at as friendship points; until a specific event in the book that leads either teacher to the realization that this close friendship of theirs isn't friendship at all 🙂.

like i said; romance isn't the main focus, so after this event, you'll see the ros act towards the mc like one would a crush, or someone they wish to romantically pursue, but it won't be made official ( in terms of dating ).

yorika harada ( F ) - subject teacher; math. 29 years old. only romanceable by male mcs.

yorika harada is a subject teacher that moves class to class to teach math. she's young, and has been teaching for one year.

yorika is popular amongst her students for the reason that she's young, pretty and wears pretty dresses to work.

yorika has short brown hair that curls around her ears cutely, her eyes are a light brown and she loves the color pink. she stands at 156 cms.

chikao nishimura ( M ) - physical education teacher and the coach for the boys basketball team. 37 years old. only romanceable by female mcs.

chikao nishimura is the physical education teacher. he's in charge of many of the sport related events you might encounter throughout the school year. he's been rotated around a few schools, Higashima Highschool marks his third school.

chikao is a heart first kind of guy. he's always grinning and the students like him for his upbeat personality, though many do get tired of his happy go lucky heart; especially during exam season !

yuna suzuki (F) - a flower that refuses to blossom. 1 - D student.

yuna suzuki, the rising beauty at Higashima. she's loved by all and favored by many. her smiles are sweet, her kind gestures common, her grades are average.

yuna , behind the nice girl at school , has joined a rough group of older teens from another highschool.

yuna has medium length black hair that stops at her shoulder blades. she's pale skin, dark eyes, and a lithe physique. she stands at 169 cm.

haru takahashi ( M ) - the boar that ran forever. 1 - D student.

haru takahashi is an annoying, rowdy boy that gets into more fights than he can count. all the first years make sure to not piss him off too much.

haru's parents are both lawyers, and usually aren't present most the time. therefore, haru believes he can spend his days running the streets and skipping classes.

haru has short bleached yellow hair that's brown at the roots. his choppy bangs are always pinned back by a girl's headband. brown eyes, lightly tanned skin, and slightly muscular in the lean sense. he stands at 175 cm.

daisuke tanaka - a scarecrow in the middle of a wheat field. 1 - A student.

daisuke tanaka is a polite, helpful boy. he's on the basketball team and is loved by all his teachers and classmates. even the upperclassmen like daisuke. he's always wearing a grin on his face, and tends to sport a lot of bandages on his face.

daisuke doesn't talk much about his home life, but it's known by staff that he only has a father, and has just recently transferred to Higashima after living with his grandparents in tōhoku.

daisuke is mostly seen with short black hair, and it only gets shorter and shorter each time you see him ( put down the scissors ! ). he's tanned skin, and is fairly muscular for a kid his age. he stands at 182 cm. tall for a freshman.

sadako sasaki ( F ) - the dew left on morning grass. 1 - B student.

sadako sasaki was named after the thousand crane story, her mother being touched by such a tale. she's shy, and quiet, and honestly no one really notices her there until she speaks up - her voice has been described as so quiet, even a fly wouldn't spook.

sadako is the daughter of a retired geisha and one of her clients. a love story for the ages if you ask her parents about it. because of this, sadako is skilled at most arts and is considered a prodigy by the teachers that do pay attention.
