Abandoned Towers of Books Appear in New York City

Caught up in a strange whim, Shaheryar Malik disposes his collection of books in teetering piles in public spaces. Scattered across Manhattan, his book collection has been abandoned and left to fend for itself at the hands of city dwellers to decide their fates. He doesn’t wish to know what will become of his books, or what may likely happen to them in this unconventional experiment.

I love buying your books but PLEASE DON’T

change the covers halfway through a series, could you at least wait until the series is over and then re-print? Or print the old versions as well?

change the size of the paperbacks halfway through a series, now my bookshelf is messed up thanks

if people aren’t complaining about the covers they are probably fine, don’t change them

sell series in sets for a discounted price

talk to the readers more about what they like regarding cover designs

add illustrations to the inside cover pages, I love illustrations

I read faster than my first grade teacher in her class.

I checked out my first Stephen King novel in seventh grade and had to have a special permission note from my parents to do so. This involved an hour-long conversation trying to explain to my father why I needed his permission to check out books at school that I had been reading at home for at least two years.

I’ve ripped three separate book bags on library haul trips.

In eighth grade, I got to do an independent reading class instead of my regularly scheduled English class from about four weeks because the class was going over And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. When I was in fifth grade, my sister and her class went over the book, which meant I then borrowed it from her and read it. The teacher didn’t believe me, but verbally tested me on the book and just let me read whatever I wanted when I got everything correct.
