The first one, is for a good-hearted man who should have been given more time— someone far more deserving than him. The second one, is for a man that he'll lose to the darkness as time passes. And there he is, silently crying between the two men he's has given his heart to, as they make love one last time. Prometheus doesn't know how long he'll be gone, but as he gazes into Seth's eyes, he knows——— knows that his missing light from Seth's life, will only erase more of the goodness in him. "I don't want to lose you two—" He whispers to the chthonic, and the other man must know what he means. "Don't forget me until we meet again——— promise me." He begs, as he leans in to kiss him, caged between his, and Deacon's heat.

It's bittersweet...

Making that decision had been harder than he had thought, but while Theus had been seemingly good at dealing with everything that had happened in 2021, it was far from it. The hedonist had never shared his heart with so many people before, and Covaire City had never been a place he truly intended to live in. But he'd had found great happiness there, but also his greatest heartaches. And it had all started with Amelia's disappearance.

The first crack...

The discussion had been long, with a lot of crying, but a realisation that city would take everything from them, if they let it happen. And as both Deacon, and him had always been honest with each other— it was obvious they needed time away from the city— go back to what they had done before tragedy had struck——— travelling around the world. They had talked about their adventures together so often, it was about time, they go on their own together.

Breathing again...

Reactions are on all levels. Vivienne is furious, and tells him that he won't have a job in her business if he leaves and comes back. Prometheus chuckles, and hugs her. "I'll miss you too." Is all he says. She is lying through her teeth——— with a single idea of his, Hedonist came to be, and he knows it probably doubled what the vampire used to make. She'll take him back. He finds his courage to face the Alpha— the man is always in the woods going around rounds. Theus doesn't have to say anything - he knows, and wishes him good luck during his travelling, and to stay out of troubles. Prometheus wonders if he knows the truth, but prefers not to ask, and thanks him before going on his way. Then, he goes around his friends. Chloe is the one that worries him the most. "Trust in Arlon, and the Alpha while I'm gone. I know one day, you'll be free of that bastard." He reminds her that she's not alone. He even pays Israel a visit at the Château, to give him a hug. They aren’t really friend, but the guy deserved one. He says nothing, just a hug, before he’s gone. Seeing Effy though, it hurts more than he expected. He's happy things with Sarah are on the right track, but he feels like he's saying goodbye to a sibling - which he never had. "Maybe next year, we can meet in France, for New Year's Eve, and party together?" That's how he tells her that they'll meet again, if not next year, another after...

Less weight on his shoulders...

He visit Nolan's resting place— the one that he had learned the pyre had been. "I'll be alright. I love you." Always will. He sobs there for a while— that wound still feels like it was sliced in a moment ago. To cheer himself up, he visits Seth's home, and spends time with the two cats. It's hard to explain the concept of leaving to them, but they understand one thing— not seeing him. He gives them a lot of fresh tuna for their pain, it works. For now anyway. He grabs them both and exits the house.

Those were all the easy parts...

His heart is heavy when he enters Seth's store. He locks the door behind him, and turns the sign on the closed side. "We need to talk."

One last time, Deacon, Seth, and him spend an evening together after he told the chthonic the news. The next cull day and night, he spends alone with Seth, and begs him again not to let go of him. "The cats will bite you as a reminder." He chuckles through his tears.

The next day, they're gone. And even with tear-filled eyes, Deacon, and him still smile at each other, as they hold hands. "Portugal?" He suggests, and Deacon responds, "Then Vietnam?" They laugh as they drive further away from Covaire.

They'll see the city's walls again, but not for a while...

FOCUSED

What is your character’s favourite holiday/celebration? He'll say his own, because he loves being spoiled, but deep down, it's Deacon's, then Seth's birthday. And surprisingly Nolan's.

How does your character celebrate that holiday/celebration? Alone? With family? With friends? With co-workers? With strangers? He'll celebrate with each "birthday boy" individually, and maybe include others after initial one-on-one.

What does your character like the most about that holiday? Why is it important to them? It's the birthday of the three men he's in love with. And even though Nolan died recently, it's important for Prometheus to celebrate those people's life, and not just mourn their death (in Nolan's case). Deacon has a special spot, because he's Theus' first great love.

Is that holiday a religious/spiritual/ritualistic activity to your character? Explain. Nothing of the sort, except for Nolan's, since he's dead. This is something that is, and will become more important for Prometheus, as the years go by. As someone who's never gotten truly attached to people before, losing someone he's in love with affected him a lot, and this will become quite ritualistic over time with a need to be at the wolf's resting place to celebrate him.

Is gift giving important to your character? Yes, and no. He loves giving meaningful ones, and excluding his work, Theus doesn't truly care for meaningless gifts from people close to him.

Is there a holiday/celebration that your character dislikes or find stressful? Why? None. Theus just wouldn't bother with anything stressful, he's a hedonist, he's only seeking the pleasures of life.

In general, does your character prefer summer or winter holidays/celebrations? Why? That's a hard one for him, since both have their pros and cons. Because of his work, and how easier it is for all species to enjoy that season, he'd say summer, but only over technicalities.

Does your character prefers to party inside the comfort of their home, our somewhere else? Both, equally.

GENERAL

Does your character celebrates Christmas, or any other equivalent celebration from a different cultural background? If yes, how? Yes, but in a very privately way. He'll mostly use it to spend more quality time with the people he loves. Gifts might be included, but they aren't necessary to him.

Does your character have traditions attached to that holiday? If yes, describe. None other than spending time with his loved ones - which he can technically do on any give  day.

Does your character celebrates Thanksgiving, or any other equivalent celebration from a different cultural background? If yes, how? No.

Does your character celebrates Halloween, or any other equivalent celebration from a different cultural background? If yes, how? Yes! Any reason to put on something new, that gives him attention, and to party hard, is enough for him to celebrate.

Does your character celebrates New Year, or any other equivalent celebration from a different cultural background? If yes, how? Yes. Similarly to Halloween, it the biggest party to start a new year - he won't miss it.

Sarah felt out of place now, despite being back in a better one. Her time as a prisoner had been difficult, with Etienne and the other guards easily preying on her, and all of her built up rage and anger. Now there was some clarity, but it made her feel worse than before. All of those terrible things that Sarah had done and said to Effy lingered on her mind. The girl hadn’t left Le Bordel since being moved back into an apartment. Not even to get food. Though she did meet the delivery driver downstairs to get it. She was thanking him when she heard Theus’ voice. 

“Theus!” She smiled. A genuine one and a definite change from her newly typical sad-face. “How have you been? Uh, of-fucking-course! You’re the first person I’ll give it to.” 

Theus actually closes the distance between them, and hugs the woman tightly. “Really happy you’re out of that shithole.” He’s about to comment about Effy, but decides otherwise—— there’s obviously stuff he’s not privy too with them, but there’s clearly something. After all, Effy wouldn’t have been such a mess the last time he’d met her, if things had been alright with Sarah.

”Crystal clear,” she says with a friendly smile. “Unlike the dust situation.” Pulling her eyes away from two very attractive dancers, she points at a thin layer of dust lining the top of the lights and also the skirting. “Who normally cleans in here? And I don’t mind where I work. Wherever you need me most!” 

It’s then that she realises Fantasia Man is actually quite a handsome fellow. He’d look splendid with his eyes bulging from his head. 

“Have you worked here for long? Is it a good place? Seems like a lot of fun.” 

Prometheus grins at the mage’s brutalhonesty. “See, this is why I knew I’d like you right away— you didn’t look likesomeone doing the minimum——— I like someone who does what they’re paid for tothe best of their capacity. Now you see why I sought you out.” The elysiandemands the best from all of the people he manages. “Someone that I didn’t findcompetent enough to my liking.” He replies seriously.

Maeve’s eyes are already all over the place. She’s not unused to seeing barely clothed people, but still - some of those men in there, damn. Not sure whether she’d rather screw them or kill them, she barely listens when Theus approaches and instead finds her own imaginings far more interesting. But she replies nonetheless, perfectly able to attend to one thing while her roving hyper-active mind is rambling pleasantly elsewhere. 

“Thank you for having me,” she says politely, while turning to follow Theus. The choice doesn’t need thinking about. “I’d like a tour, please. To see what there is to clean up.” And so much more, obviously.

He chuckles as she looks around— he's not at all offended by it, even less, when she responds to him——— tells him that she can multitask easily. That's nice. "No, no, thank you." He counters, since she's the one who'll be doing the work. "Alright, there are two main jobs, but I'll let you decide whichever you prefer afterwards - could be both too, but I suppose it might be too much, with a full-time job at the Dominion." Or so he assumes. "We have cleaning with patrons around you— like here, in the centre stage room - which also happens to be the largest. The stage is already covered though." He explains.

Effy laughed softly and shook her head at that grin of his. There’s no denying that Theus knows how to have a good time, provides a good distraction. It’s only a shame that they’re both submissive, ironically with them it had never been a sexual relationship. She hadn’t expected him to invite her along for another day of whatever trouble they may get themselves into. It sure as hell sounds a lot better than going to work where it would likely be too quiet for her liking. She shook her head and her smile grew. “You know, I think I’ll tag along. See what other kind of trouble we can get ourselves into.”

Theus likes Effy— a lot, and it's probably because she amongst the handful of her ranks that doesn't want anything from him, like most does. It's not that he really minds when others expect something out of him, because he's used to it, but it's nice to have some people that have his back in a place like here. Like today, times when he doesn't want to deal with the rest of the world. Damn house! He grins as she tells him she'll come with him. "Only the best kind!" He reassures, with the most untrustworthy, and mischievous kind of smile.

The day is only starting after all———

Rae had been busy all day, everyone looking to get their companions pampered. She had thought she’d be done on time today, but when Theus had called asking of she had any openings, she offered to stay later for him. She hadn’t done that for anyone in a while and she knew both Theus and Seth. She’d hate to lose their business if she wasn’t accommodating! Hearing him enter past the low classical music coming from the sound system. “Are you willing to work?” She teased as she brushed the cats belly, her tone a clear indication he was welcome behind the scenes.

Sena thanked him quietly as she saw that he had brought a mug of something for her. She held it in shaking hand, not bothering to take a drink as she still tried to sort through what she had been through. She felt exhausted, wished she could just shut it off or sleep so she could pretend she hadn’t seen it. But she knew it wouldn’t matter, even with her eyes closed that sight was seared into her brain. When he asks what happened to him she shakes her head, unsure she wants to put that burden on him. No one should have to experience that. She shook her head. “It wasn’t an accident….someone had to have done that to him.” Finally she looked up at him, the fear evident on her face. “First Chloe…now Gabe? Something’s going on, it can’t be coincidence.”

How: Shot by mistake

Why: You almost got away, you were almost the winner. You discovered who the killer was, but much to your dismay, they twisted it on you. You escape the camp, only to be greeted by the county sheriff. They take one look at you, bloodied, crazed, and confused, with a knife in your hands. They don’t hesitate to shoot, thinking you’re the killer. What a sad way to go, especially since you’re the only one who knew the truth.

“You———“ But he has seen the body— no, that’s not true, they had seen a body, and that’s when he realises how they’ve all been fooled. Theus fights a good fight, for someone who’s never held a knife to defend himself, but as much as he tries, he will to survive is in vain, as he’s knocked out. Surprisingly, he wakes up covered in blood, and on the edge of the camp. Prometheus’ head is pounding, and he’s not sure how much time has passed, but he sure as hell needs to tell someone about the identity of the killer.

The knife he’d fought with is nearby, and he grabs it to defend himself just in case. Maybe someone had come in to save him before the final blow had been given. But now, as much as the children’s safety is important, the sound of the sirens nearby tells him that he must hurry, and warm the police about the killer. He hears something behind him, and panics— so he runs away, but also toward the flashing lights of the patrol cars. But there’s one important details he’s missed in his dazed state——— the clean shirt he had been wearing before passing out, is covered in blood, and so are his hands and parts of his face and neck.

He comes closer, and he knows they’ll be able to truly save him, but as he gets in eye sight, something hits his neck, and makes his whole body shake once from the shock. It takes but a second for him to fall, and a few more to stop breathing. He whispers the name of the culprit, but there’s no one to hear him—

Seth could see the stress and fear on Prometheus’ face. It was heart breaking to see someone who was so full of life, be brought down to this. “Yes, they’re safe, that is what matters. But everyone else matters as well. I heard they found several bodies already, but no one knows what’s going on or who is doing this”.

He sighed. Could it be his father? Was this the last punishment he had put in place for Seth? Why do that though? Why sacrifice others for a camp? It made no sense. “I think it would be best if we have everyone sleep in the main hall, don’t you? We can move all the beds there. Could you help me with that?”

Theus nods— what else can he say? Everyone is stressed, and panicked, and there's not much they can do, when help makes itself wait. The counsellor just do what he's good at— being there for others in their times of need. "Are you going to be alright?" He asks, as he worries about the owner. This place is important to all of them, but for Seth, it's so much more, it's also his legacy.

“Not going to lie, possible injuries withstanding, it sound hilarious and kinda want to see that.” He really not helping, given to her that the whole idea of kidding blood is still very squeaky to her. “Yeah, hard pass. “

“Really determined to have that cactus floatie aren’t you?” She mused, shaking her head with a small laugh. She’s not objecting, she’ll happily buy some for the pool, even if no one had been coming to the house. It was sad how empty it was, how lonely she felt whenever she was there. She doesn’t look him in the eye, looking down as he reminds her what the repercussions of starving herself could do. She has enough control not to do that. She’ll feed later, she just wants the weak and hazy feeling to last a little longer. She shook her head. “Not really, suppose I could go in and get some work done at Cansu.” There’s not really anything to do there, but she makes up work, any excuses to keep herself busy as of late. “What about you?”
